1

00:00:01,434 --> 00:00:02,631

Bon.

2

00:00:02,632 --> 00:00:04,529

Silence, je tourne.

3

00:00:07,932 --> 00:00:09,331

Halloween,

4

00:00:09,399 --> 00:00:11,301

la veille de la Toussaint,

5

00:00:11,369 --> 00:00:13,867

la 4ème nuit dans notre recherche

6

00:00:13,935 --> 00:00:17,309

des "huaka'i po",

les "Marcheurs de la Nuit",

7

00:00:17,377 --> 00:00:20,649

des guerriers fantômes

qui errent dans les îles.

8

00:00:20,717 --> 00:00:23,025

Y a quelque chose là-dedans.

9

00:00:23,923 --> 00:00:25,023

Je pense qu'on devrait rentrer

chez nous.

10

00:00:25,084 --> 00:00:27,702

Juste, euh, juste encore

un peu, bébé.

11

00:00:27,754 --> 00:00:29,704

Je te protégerai.

12

00:00:29,756 --> 00:00:32,507

Wow. Je me sens super

en sécurité maintenant.

13

00:00:35,711 --> 00:00:38,413

Tu entends ça?

14

00:00:38,464 --> 00:00:42,217

C'est probablement un...

oiseau ou quelque chose comme ça.

15

00:01:07,493 --> 00:01:09,444

C'est, euh...

16

00:01:09,495 --> 00:01:11,463

"Kulamanu Heiau", euh...

17

00:01:11,547 --> 00:01:13,965

un ancien temple et... et...

18

00:01:14,050 --> 00:01:17,335

un cimetière,

un... un cimetière sacré.

19

00:01:17,420 --> 00:01:19,971

Les locaux, euh, considèrent

que s'introduire

20

00:01:20,056 --> 00:01:21,973

sur ces terres est interdit.

21

00:01:22,058 --> 00:01:23,725

Il y a, euh...

22

00:01:23,792 --> 00:01:26,961

I y a eu tant d'observations

des "Marcheurs de la Nuit" par ici,

23

00:01:27,013 --> 00:01:30,732

donc... même s'il se peut que nous

mettions en colère

24

00:01:30,799 --> 00:01:32,317

les esprits protégeant

25

00:01:32,401 --> 00:01:35,103

cet "heiau",

le jeu en vaut la chandelle.

26

00:01:35,154 --> 00:01:37,155

Qu'est-ce que c'est que ça?

27

00:01:40,976 --> 00:01:42,160

Hé, euh, peut-être

28

00:01:42,245 --> 00:01:43,411

que tu ne devrais pas...

29

00:01:46,032 --> 00:01:47,399

Christian!

30

00:01:58,861 --> 00:02:02,163

Da Hui Team présente...

31

00:02:02,236 --> 00:02:06,236

Hawaii Five-O 2x07 : Ka Iwi Kapu

Diffusion 31 Octobre 2011

32

00:02:38,468 --> 00:02:39,668

Une friandise ou une bêtise!

33

00:02:48,527 --> 00:02:49,977

Voilà.

34

00:02:50,028 --> 00:02:52,997

Merci!

35

00:03:04,354 --> 00:03:06,605

Une friandise ou une bêtise!

36

00:03:10,894 --> 00:03:12,695

Euh, pardon?

37

00:03:13,563 --> 00:03:14,563

Une friandise ou une bêtise?

38

00:03:15,899 --> 00:03:17,783

C'est Halloween;

elle veut une friandise.

39

00:03:17,850 --> 00:03:19,785

Oh, euh, je n'ai

vraiment rien.

40

00:03:19,852 --> 00:03:21,036

Je parierai que si.

41

00:03:21,121 --> 00:03:23,288

Pourquoi vous n'iriez pas regarder...

pour trouver quelque chose.

42

00:03:27,494 --> 00:03:29,411

Ne me regarde pas

comme ça, s'il te plaît.

43

00:03:29,496 --> 00:03:31,196

Est-ce que tu sais

à quel point tu es belle?

44

00:03:31,247 --> 00:03:32,798

Tu es merveilleuse.

45

00:03:32,865 --> 00:03:34,967

Ok? Ca va être génial...

On va avoir plein de bonbons.

46

00:03:35,034 --> 00:03:37,052

Fais-moi confiance pour une fois,

s'il te plaît? Merci.

47

00:03:37,137 --> 00:03:39,054

Voilà.

Joyeux Halloween.

48

00:03:40,256 --> 00:03:42,324

Euh, ou peu importe...

49

00:03:49,224 --> 00:03:50,466

Qu'est-ce que c'est que ça?

50

00:03:50,467 --> 00:03:52,317

- Un petit quelque chose pour papa?

- Viens ici, viens ici.

51

00:03:52,385 --> 00:03:53,652

Viens derrière moi.

Qu'est-ce que c'est que ça?!

52

00:03:53,719 --> 00:03:55,571

Qu'est-ce que c'est que ça?!

Vous donnez de l'alcool à un enfant?

53

00:03:55,655 --> 00:03:56,605

Je vous ai dit que

je n'avais rien.

54

00:03:56,689 --> 00:03:58,741

Tenez ça.

Ecoutez-moi.

55

00:03:58,825 --> 00:04:00,476

Que pensez-vous de 6 mois,

6 mois

56

00:04:00,543 --> 00:04:02,745

pour distribution à un mineur.

- Papa, allons-y. - Désolé chérie.

57

00:04:02,829 --> 00:04:04,480

- J'essaie d'être gentil.

- Vous essayez d'être gentil?

58

00:04:04,547 --> 00:04:06,248

Je vais vous montrer c'est quoi "gentil"

dans une seconde. Ne bougez pas.

59

00:04:07,900 --> 00:04:09,201

Allo?

60

00:04:10,336 --> 00:04:13,088

Ok, oui, je...

J'y serai.

61

00:04:14,207 --> 00:04:16,592

Vous avez de la chance.

Rentrez, fermez cette porte.

62

00:04:16,659 --> 00:04:17,676

Dégage. Maintenant.

63

00:04:21,514 --> 00:04:23,298

Je suis vraiment désolé.

64

00:04:23,383 --> 00:04:25,802

Je sais qu'on était censé aller

faire la quête, mais papa

65

00:04:25,827 --> 00:04:27,433

vient d'être appelé pour travailler.

Ok? Donc je dois y aller, et

66

00:04:27,434 --> 00:04:30,603

je dois te ramener...

- Je prends mes affaires!

67

00:04:31,941 --> 00:04:33,992

Je vois que tu es

tout à fait effondrée...

68

00:04:34,060 --> 00:04:37,980

... anéantie par

ce changement de plans.

69

00:04:38,902 --> 00:04:41,153

Vraiment déçue, à ce que je vois.

70

00:04:53,283 --> 00:04:55,167

Hé, je suis désolé d'interrompre

la quête des bonbons.

71

00:04:55,252 --> 00:04:57,053

Non, ça va.

Grace était très contente...

72

00:04:57,120 --> 00:04:58,271

Elle hait cet hôtel.

73

00:04:58,338 --> 00:05:00,006

Je dois trouver

un appartement.

74

00:05:00,090 --> 00:05:01,641

Mais tu as trouvé

10 appartements, Danny...

75

00:05:01,725 --> 00:05:02,842

Aucun n'est assez bon.

76

00:05:02,926 --> 00:05:05,011

Ca s'appelle avoir du "goût" et une

"échelle de valeurs", mon pote.

77

00:05:05,095 --> 00:05:06,312

Rentrez chez vous!

78

00:05:06,396 --> 00:05:07,813

J'aimerais.

Merci.

79

00:05:07,898 --> 00:05:09,815

Vous n'êtes pas autorisés

à être ici.

80

00:05:09,900 --> 00:05:12,818

C'est comme au New Jersey.

Va cuver, mon pote, hein?

81

00:05:12,903 --> 00:05:14,153

Hé, les gars.

82

00:05:14,237 --> 00:05:17,123

Donc, on pense qu'il y a 2

victimes enterrées sur le chemin,

83

00:05:17,190 --> 00:05:19,808

Christian O'Connor

et Kat Forester.

84

00:05:19,860 --> 00:05:22,828

2 documentalistes amateurs qui tentaient

de filmer les "Marcheurs de la Nuit".

85

00:05:22,913 --> 00:05:24,580

C'est quoi les

"Marcheurs de la Nuit"?

86

00:05:24,647 --> 00:05:26,916

- Des guerriers fantômes hawaiiens.

- Ouais.

87

00:05:26,983 --> 00:05:29,302

Oh, donc c'est bon,

nous avons nos suspects.

88

00:05:29,369 --> 00:05:30,870

- Tu sais quoi?

- Hé, ne ris pas.

89

00:05:30,937 --> 00:05:32,238

Mon grand-père

les a vu, une fois.

90

00:05:32,306 --> 00:05:33,506

Il a vu les...?

91

00:05:33,573 --> 00:05:34,490

Ouais.

92

00:05:34,541 --> 00:05:35,824

- Hé, Kono.

- Ouais?

93

00:05:35,825 --> 00:05:38,174

- Qui a trouvé les corps?

- La colocataire. Là-bas.

94

00:05:38,211 --> 00:05:40,579

Elle, euh, devait les retrouver

mais elle était en retard,

95

00:05:40,647 --> 00:05:42,498

et le temps qu'elle

monte là-haut,

96

00:05:42,549 --> 00:05:43,933

ils étaient déjà

morts et enterrés.

97

00:05:44,000 --> 00:05:45,885

Techniquement, elle

n'a pas trouvé les corps,

98

00:05:45,969 --> 00:05:49,055

juste une main dépassant

d'une tombe peu profonde. Sinistre...

99

00:05:49,139 --> 00:05:49,895

Où est Weston?

100

00:05:49,920 --> 00:05:51,342

Oh, elle était, euh,

elle devait se changer,

101

00:05:51,692 --> 00:05:53,008

mettre quelque chose

de plus approprié.

102

00:05:53,060 --> 00:05:54,560

Ca veut dire qu'elle

portait

103

00:05:54,644 --> 00:05:55,945

quelque chose d'inapproprié?

104

00:05:56,012 --> 00:05:59,014

Non, non, non, euh,

ce n'est pas ce que j'ai dit.

105

00:05:59,066 --> 00:06:01,200

C'est plus ou moins

ce que tu as dit.

106

00:06:01,284 --> 00:06:02,902

Oh, elle portait un costume?

107

00:06:02,986 --> 00:06:04,236

S'il te plaît, ne lui dis

pas que je te l'ai dit.

108

00:06:04,304 --> 00:06:05,521

Tu ne me l'as pas dit;

j'ai deviné.

109

00:06:05,572 --> 00:06:06,706

Ouais.

110

00:06:06,790 --> 00:06:08,023

- Salut.

- Juste.

111

00:06:08,075 --> 00:06:10,076

Ok, allons-y,

commençons.

112

00:06:15,165 --> 00:06:16,465

Oh, tu leur as dit.

113

00:06:16,533 --> 00:06:17,833

Ils ont deviné.

114

00:06:17,884 --> 00:06:19,218

Ok.

115

00:06:19,302 --> 00:06:20,586

Oh, c'est fascinant.

116

00:06:20,670 --> 00:06:23,139

J'étais à une soirée

Halloween avec...

117

00:06:23,206 --> 00:06:24,757

Qu'est-ce qui est si fascinant?

118

00:06:24,841 --> 00:06:25,975

La soirée n'est pas fascinante.

Ce qui est fascinant

119

00:06:26,042 --> 00:06:28,043

c'est que tu ne veux pas

nous en parler.

120

00:06:28,095 --> 00:06:30,363

Tu es genre toute mystérieuse...

C'est pas bizarre?

121

00:06:30,430 --> 00:06:31,931

Bizarre? Vraiment?

122

00:06:32,015 --> 00:06:34,316

Je ne suis pas mystérieuse. Non,

c'est juste ma vie privée.

123

00:06:34,384 --> 00:06:35,234

Et je peux avoir une vie privée.

- Ouais.

124

00:06:35,318 --> 00:06:36,718

Comme vous tous.

125

00:06:36,770 --> 00:06:37,770

Pourquoi tu me fixes?

126

00:06:37,854 --> 00:06:40,189

Je... Parce que

j'imagine simplement,

127

00:06:40,240 --> 00:06:44,243

euh, qui pourrait être

l'ater ego de Lori Weston.

128

00:06:44,327 --> 00:06:45,478

Euh...

129

00:06:45,545 --> 00:06:47,413

Mm, Wonder Woman?

130

00:06:47,497 --> 00:06:48,547

Non.

131

00:06:50,217 --> 00:06:51,817

Wonder Woman "coquine"?

132

00:06:51,885 --> 00:06:53,902

Arrête ça, Danno.

133

00:07:02,245 --> 00:07:05,181

Chin, qu'est-ce que tu as?

134

00:07:05,248 --> 00:07:06,766

la fouille de

la zone environnante

135

00:07:06,850 --> 00:07:08,300

n'a rien apporté

pour le moment.

136

00:07:09,886 --> 00:07:12,304

Mm. Ok, Je ne veux pas

enfoncer des portes ouvertes,

137

00:07:12,389 --> 00:07:14,590

mais je pense juste que peut-être

nous aurons plus de chance

138

00:07:14,641 --> 00:07:15,582

si on cherche là où

la main se trouve.

139

00:07:15,607 --> 00:07:17,238

Oui, mais on doit

attendre le prêtre.

140

00:07:17,861 --> 00:07:19,779

- Pourquoi?

- Parce que c'est un "heiau".

141

00:07:19,863 --> 00:07:22,314

Un ancien temple hawaiien.

On doit attendre que le Kahu

142

00:07:22,399 --> 00:07:25,201

nous bénisse et demande la permission aux

esprits avant que nous puissions entrer.

143

00:07:25,268 --> 00:07:26,869

Oh.

144

00:07:26,936 --> 00:07:29,183

Ok, bon, je vais juste...

Laissez-moi juste éclaircir cela

145

00:07:29,184 --> 00:07:30,739

pour que je comprenne.

146

00:07:30,740 --> 00:07:32,992

Il y a une scène de crime

juste là.

147

00:07:33,076 --> 00:07:34,410

Ok, et les preuves pour l'expertise légale

sont en train de se dégrader

148

00:07:34,461 --> 00:07:35,995

pendant qu'on parle, mais

nous allons attendre

149

00:07:36,079 --> 00:07:37,580

qu'un prêtre nous dise

150

00:07:37,631 --> 00:07:40,449

que le fantôme magique dit que

c'est ok pour nous de vérifier.

151

00:07:40,500 --> 00:07:43,169

Mm-hmm. C'est leur culture, Danny...

Tu dois juste la respecter.

152

00:07:43,253 --> 00:07:45,221

Oh, c'est une... une bien belle

pensée, Wonder Woman,

153

00:07:45,288 --> 00:07:47,640

mais je pense que les esprits

feront une exception

154

00:07:47,724 --> 00:07:49,458

pour que nous puissions

attrapper le meurtrier, non?

155

00:07:49,509 --> 00:07:51,627

Vraiment?

Tu mets les gants?

156

00:07:51,678 --> 00:07:53,312

Tu es en train de faire une erreur.

157

00:07:53,396 --> 00:07:55,147

Et bien, je pense que

je tenterai ma chance.

158

00:07:55,232 --> 00:07:56,565

Ils seront bientôt là.

159

00:07:56,633 --> 00:07:58,234

Je m'en charge, d'accord?

160

00:08:07,244 --> 00:08:09,161

Un bracelet en cuir tressé...

161

00:08:09,279 --> 00:08:11,363

La colocataire l'a identifié comme étant

celui de l'homme.

162

00:08:11,448 --> 00:08:14,283

Beaucoup d'empreintes de pas.

163

00:08:17,320 --> 00:08:19,421

Ah. Tout le monde...

164

00:08:19,489 --> 00:08:23,042

J'ai trouvé un ancien

artéfact hawaiien.

165

00:08:24,878 --> 00:08:26,712

Regardez ça.

166

00:08:26,796 --> 00:08:27,997

Hein?

167

00:08:28,064 --> 00:08:30,549

Peut-être qu'ils ont pris

une photo de leur assassin.

168

00:08:30,634 --> 00:08:34,637

Euh, les esprits maléfiques, ils vont

venir et me maudir maintenant, ou quoi?

169

00:08:39,276 --> 00:08:41,110

N'y pense même pas.

170

00:08:42,512 --> 00:08:44,697

Tu aurais dû attendre

le prêtre, mon pote.

171

00:08:46,650 --> 00:08:48,367

Ferme la.

172

00:08:56,076 --> 00:08:58,127

Et bien, parce que ça dit

"commodités inclues", ok?

173

00:08:58,194 --> 00:08:59,378

Et tout le monde sait

174

00:08:59,462 --> 00:09:01,029

que la télévision satellite

est une commodité.

175

00:09:01,081 --> 00:09:02,414

Non?

176

00:09:02,499 --> 00:09:05,251

Et bien, une bonne journée à vous,

monsieur.

177

00:09:05,335 --> 00:09:09,305

Tu perds la tête, Danny.

178

00:09:09,372 --> 00:09:12,474

Ecoute, j'ai... J'ai vécu dans

la misère depuis bien trop longtemps.

179

00:09:12,542 --> 00:09:13,926

Ok? Je vais avoir ce que je veux,

180

00:09:14,010 --> 00:09:15,594

Je vais avoir ce que je veux

à un prix raisonnable,

181

00:09:15,679 --> 00:09:17,546

et je ne vais payer aucune

charge de déménagement, ok?

182

00:09:17,597 --> 00:09:18,814

Ca ne fait pas de moi un fou.

183

00:09:18,881 --> 00:09:21,100

Non, ce qui fait que tu es fou,

c'est de penser que c'est ok

184

00:09:21,184 --> 00:09:22,936

de piétiner le sol

d'une tombe sacrée.

185

00:09:22,961 --> 00:09:24,153

Oh, nous y voilà.

186

00:09:24,154 --> 00:09:25,437

- Nous y voilà.

- Nous y voilà?

187

00:09:25,522 --> 00:09:27,940

- Je suis un salaud insensible.

- Je n'ai pas dit un "salaud",

188

00:09:28,024 --> 00:09:29,391

mais "insensible" est assez juste

dans ce cas, ouais, Danny.

189

00:09:29,442 --> 00:09:32,027

C'était la scène d'un meurtre, Steven.

190

00:09:32,078 --> 00:09:33,445

Ouais, tu sais quoi?

191

00:09:33,513 --> 00:09:36,231

Tu ne peux pas prendre les croyances

des gens pour une blague.

192

00:09:36,283 --> 00:09:38,050

Danny, un "heiau" est une

partie incroyablement importante

193

00:09:38,075 --> 00:09:39,275

de la culture hawaiienne.

194

00:09:39,619 --> 00:09:42,254

Ok, et enquêter sur une scène de crime

est très important pour mon boulot.

195

00:09:42,339 --> 00:09:44,673

D'accord, et si tu veux que le

HPD coopère avec nous,

196

00:09:44,741 --> 00:09:46,926

tu ne peux pas manquer de respect

à leur religion, mec.

197

00:09:47,010 --> 00:09:49,261

Comment te sentirais-tu si

quelqu'un désacralisait une église?

198

00:09:49,346 --> 00:09:51,263

Personnellement, je me sentirais concerné,

ça me tiendrait à coeur, ok?

199

00:09:51,348 --> 00:09:53,165

Mais c'est une bonne question,

parce que devine quoi?

200

00:09:53,233 --> 00:09:54,433

Ce n'est pas la même chose.

201

00:09:54,517 --> 00:09:56,468

C'est exactement la même chose.

202

00:09:56,553 --> 00:09:59,438

Mais tu ne crois en rien de tout ça

de toute façon, pas vrai? Tu t'en... fiches...

203

00:09:59,522 --> 00:10:00,922

Pourrais-t-on ne pas avoir

cette conversation, s'il te plaît?

204

00:10:00,974 --> 00:10:01,941

Parce qu'en général,

cette conversation

205

00:10:02,025 --> 00:10:03,108

ne se passe pas très bien.

206

00:10:03,193 --> 00:10:03,976

- Bien.

- Ok?

207

00:10:04,060 --> 00:10:05,611

Dans l'Histoire, ça ne se passe pas bien.

208

00:10:05,695 --> 00:10:07,479

Ok, d'accord.

209

00:10:08,865 --> 00:10:11,933

Bien. Donc, pas de vie après la mort,

pas de Force supérieure...

210

00:10:11,985 --> 00:10:13,569

- Rien.

- Ok, ok, ok.

211

00:10:13,620 --> 00:10:15,487

Je pense que les gens

inventent des trucs

212

00:10:15,572 --> 00:10:17,740

pour se sentir mieux.

Qu'est-ce que tu penses de ça?

213

00:10:20,794 --> 00:10:22,044

Wow...

214

00:10:22,111 --> 00:10:23,329

Ne me fais pas ton "wow".

215

00:10:23,396 --> 00:10:25,214

Je suis... Non, je veux dire c'est juste...

216

00:10:25,281 --> 00:10:26,665

Wow...

217

00:10:26,750 --> 00:10:29,635

Ok, écoute, ok, je crois ce que

je vois en face de moi,

218

00:10:29,719 --> 00:10:31,453

et parfois,

je ne le crois même pas, ok?

219

00:10:31,504 --> 00:10:33,222

Mais si ça te rend

plus heureux,

220

00:10:33,289 --> 00:10:36,058

la prochaine fois, je ferai semblant, ok?

221

00:10:37,577 --> 00:10:38,844

Wow...

222

00:10:38,928 --> 00:10:41,180

Ne me sors pas ton "wow"!

223

00:10:43,132 --> 00:10:45,050

Chin,

224

00:10:45,118 --> 00:10:46,485

tu as quelque chose?

225

00:10:46,553 --> 00:10:48,754

Et bien, la caméra enregistrait

quand les meurtres ont eu lieu,

226

00:10:48,822 --> 00:10:50,806

mais il semble que

notre tueur était timide face à elle.

227

00:10:50,857 --> 00:10:52,191

Pas un seul plan de lui.

228

00:10:52,275 --> 00:10:53,575

Mais on a trouvé

quelque chose d'intéressant.

229

00:10:53,643 --> 00:10:54,727

Regarde ça.

230

00:10:56,279 --> 00:10:59,698

... le jeu en vaut la chandelle.

231

00:10:59,783 --> 00:11:02,201

Qu'est-ce que c'est que ça?

232

00:11:04,871 --> 00:11:06,505

Hé, peut-être, euh...

233

00:11:06,589 --> 00:11:07,873

Hé, peut-être que

tu ne devrais pas, euh...

234

00:11:12,262 --> 00:11:13,379

Ce sac...

235

00:11:13,463 --> 00:11:14,830

n'était pas sur le lieu.

236

00:11:16,833 --> 00:11:19,668

Christian!

237

00:11:22,822 --> 00:11:24,990

Ouais, je me demande ce

qu'il y avait dans ce sac?

238

00:11:25,058 --> 00:11:27,026

Il y a beaucoup de restes de

squelettes anciens là-bas.

239

00:11:27,110 --> 00:11:28,777

Attendez une minute.

Vous pensez à des pilleurs de tombe?

240

00:11:28,845 --> 00:11:31,280

C'est possible. Quelques collectionneurs

sans scrupules paieraient cher

241

00:11:31,347 --> 00:11:33,532

pour les artéfacts de là-bas.

242

00:11:33,616 --> 00:11:36,201

D'accord, donc,

ces deux jeunes le surprennent,

243

00:11:36,286 --> 00:11:39,238

et il les tue car

il veut garder son secret.

244

00:11:39,322 --> 00:11:40,572

Peut-être.

245

00:11:40,657 --> 00:11:42,074

Il pourrait y avoir quelque chose

dans cette zone.

246

00:11:42,158 --> 00:11:44,410

Quelque chose que la caméra a enregistré

mais qu'on ne voit pas pour le moment.

247

00:11:44,494 --> 00:11:46,128

Kono, que Fong creuse

plus profond là-dedans,

248

00:11:46,195 --> 00:11:47,195

et vois ce qu'il peut en tirer.

249

00:11:47,247 --> 00:11:48,714

Danny et moi allons

voir ce que Max a trouvé.

250

00:11:48,798 --> 00:11:52,251

La femme est morte d'un traumatisme

violent à la tête,

251

00:11:52,318 --> 00:11:55,754

vraisemblablement provoqué

par la pelle qui l'a enterrée.

252

00:11:55,822 --> 00:11:58,590

La victime masculine avait des saletés

et des débris dans ces poumons.

253

00:11:58,675 --> 00:12:01,009

Malheureusement, il a été enterré vivant.

254

00:12:01,061 --> 00:12:03,762

Tu sais, euh, Keanu,

Halloween, c'était hier.

255

00:12:03,847 --> 00:12:05,097

Tu es au courant, n'est-ce pas ?

256

00:12:05,181 --> 00:12:06,565

- Quoi ?

- Hmm ?

257

00:12:06,633 --> 00:12:09,485

Oh. Oui, je suis venu directement

au travail après une soirée costumée.

258

00:12:09,552 --> 00:12:11,653

Ah, tu n'as pas secrètement ce truc

259

00:12:11,721 --> 00:12:14,273

où tu adores t'habiller

comme si tu étais dans The Matrix ?

260

00:12:14,357 --> 00:12:16,108

Ces deux concepts ne sont pas

mutuellement exclusifs.

261

00:12:16,176 --> 00:12:19,227

Très bien, Max, qu'est-ce qu'on,

euh... qu'est-ce qu'on a ici ?

262

00:12:19,279 --> 00:12:22,364

Bien, j'ai quelques bonnes nouvelles

et... des nouvelles plutôt bizarres.

263

00:12:22,415 --> 00:12:24,333

Jette un coup d'oeil à ça.

264

00:12:24,400 --> 00:12:27,669

Regarde la marque sous son oeil droit...

un bleu avec une empreinte digitale.

265

00:12:27,737 --> 00:12:29,455

D'accord, il lui a attrapé le visage.

266

00:12:29,539 --> 00:12:33,008

Exactement, et quand il a fait ça, il a

gentillement laissé son empreinte digitale.

267

00:12:33,075 --> 00:12:35,961

Une superbe empreinte

sur le verre droit de ces lunettes.

268

00:12:36,045 --> 00:12:37,513

Je l'ai entré dans le système,

269

00:12:37,580 --> 00:12:38,797

et j'ai trouvé un résultat.

270

00:12:38,882 --> 00:12:41,082

Un homme du nom de

Greg Straithan.

271

00:12:41,134 --> 00:12:42,751

- Oh.

- Bon travail, Max.

272

00:12:42,802 --> 00:12:44,103

Je suis impressionné.

273

00:12:44,187 --> 00:12:45,587

Et maintenant, l'étrange nouvelle...

274

00:12:45,638 --> 00:12:47,973

Notre suspect, Greg Straithan...

275

00:12:48,057 --> 00:12:50,058

est mort.

276

00:12:57,400 --> 00:12:59,784

Greg Straithan...

277

00:12:59,852 --> 00:13:00,986

casier judiciaire bien rempli.

278

00:13:01,037 --> 00:13:03,405

Deux crambriolages,

intrusion criminelle, a fait

279

00:13:03,489 --> 00:13:05,991

trois ans à Chino en

Californie pour agression.

280

00:13:06,042 --> 00:13:07,876

Il semble bien comme suspect.

281

00:13:07,960 --> 00:13:10,194

Sauf pour la partie où

il n'est plus en vie.

282

00:13:10,246 --> 00:13:11,379

Comment est-il mort?

283

00:13:11,464 --> 00:13:12,881

Tué par balle dans son

appartement la semaine dernière.

284

00:13:12,965 --> 00:13:15,283

Sa petite copine, Nikki Royce,

a admis l'avoir fait.

285

00:13:15,351 --> 00:13:17,135

Elle a un passé de malade mentale.

Ils l'ont enfermé

286

00:13:17,202 --> 00:13:18,420

dans l'aile psychiatrique

à l'hôpital d'Okalani.

287

00:13:18,504 --> 00:13:21,423

D'accord, le rapport indique

qu'elle lui a tiré en pleine tête.

288

00:13:21,507 --> 00:13:22,974

Oui, avec un fusil de chasse.

289

00:13:23,042 --> 00:13:24,976

D'accord, donc, pas de dossier dentaire.

290

00:13:25,044 --> 00:13:26,978

Correct?

Pas d'identification faciale non plus.

291

00:13:27,046 --> 00:13:29,047

Avec la confession de la petite amie,

292

00:13:29,098 --> 00:13:30,765

je suis pratiquement sûr

qu'ils n'ont pas

293

00:13:30,850 --> 00:13:32,100

pris les empreintes digitales du mort.

294

00:13:32,184 --> 00:13:33,818

- Où veux-tu en venir?

- Ca ressemble seulement

295

00:13:33,886 --> 00:13:35,070

à un bon moyen de falsifier

ta propre mort.

296

00:13:35,137 --> 00:13:36,054

Ca l'est sauf si tu penses

297

00:13:36,105 --> 00:13:37,221

qu'une personne morte

298

00:13:37,273 --> 00:13:38,773

a giflé notre victime dans la figure.

299

00:13:38,858 --> 00:13:39,941

Okay, si c'est le cas,

300

00:13:40,026 --> 00:13:41,392

la petite amie

était définitivement dans le coup,

301

00:13:41,444 --> 00:13:42,777

d'accord, donc allons lui parler.

302

00:13:42,862 --> 00:13:44,079

Lori, je vais avoir besoin

de tes compétences de profilage

303

00:13:44,163 --> 00:13:45,246

pour déterminer si elle est folle,

304

00:13:45,331 --> 00:13:46,531

ou si elle fait semblant d'être folle.

- D'accord.

305

00:13:46,582 --> 00:13:47,999

Vous savez, il y a une bonne question

306

00:13:48,067 --> 00:13:49,250

qu'on ne s'est pas encore posé.

307

00:13:49,335 --> 00:13:50,752

Qulequ'un s'est fait tirer dessus à

l'appartement de Straithan.

308

00:13:50,836 --> 00:13:52,287

Donc si ce n'est pas lui,

alors qui est-ce ?

309

00:13:52,371 --> 00:13:54,339

Qui que ce soit, il est enterré

dans la tombe de Straithan.

310

00:13:54,406 --> 00:13:56,091

Je remplis les papiers

pour faire une exhumation.

311

00:13:56,175 --> 00:13:58,176

Okay, en attendant,

si Straithan est vivant,

312

00:13:58,243 --> 00:14:00,295

et qu'il a trainé dans la ville

toute la semaine,

313

00:14:00,379 --> 00:14:02,464

peut-être que nos victimes l'ont déjà croisé.

314

00:14:02,531 --> 00:14:05,016

Donc, Kono, vois si la colocataire

le reconnait, d'accord ?

315

00:14:05,084 --> 00:14:09,187

Je ne l'ai jamais vu.

Désolée.

316

00:14:10,606 --> 00:14:11,639

Pensez-vous

317

00:14:11,724 --> 00:14:13,358

qu'il les a tués?

318

00:14:13,425 --> 00:14:15,393

C'est, euh, quelqu'un

que nous recherchons.

319

00:14:18,030 --> 00:14:19,814

Comment gérez-vous tout cela ?

320

00:14:19,899 --> 00:14:22,150

Oh, vous savez.

321

00:14:22,234 --> 00:14:24,069

Pas super bien.

322

00:14:24,120 --> 00:14:27,989

Le pire c'est que j'ai perdu mes 2 colocataires,

et je suis toute seule.

323

00:14:29,241 --> 00:14:31,326

Je n'ai jamais vécu toute seule auparavant.

324

00:14:32,712 --> 00:14:36,131

Oui.

Donc vos... vos amis, ils, euh...

325

00:14:36,215 --> 00:14:39,283

ils ne vous ont jamais parlé de

quelqu'un qui les menaçait

326

00:14:39,335 --> 00:14:41,086

ou qui leur faisait peur

ces dernières semaines?

327

00:14:41,137 --> 00:14:43,788

Et bien, il y avait ce type bizarre

à "l'heiau".

328

00:14:43,839 --> 00:14:45,140

Quel type bizarre?

329

00:14:45,224 --> 00:14:47,475

Quelqu'un les avait dérangé

il y a quelques nuits,

330

00:14:47,560 --> 00:14:49,060

Christian avait essayé de le faire partir,

331

00:14:49,128 --> 00:14:51,146

et je suppose qu'il est tombé

et sa tête a tapé sur un rocher.

332

00:14:51,230 --> 00:14:53,932

Kat a dit qu'il saignait

vraiment beaucoup.

333

00:15:05,477 --> 00:15:07,112

Hé.

334

00:15:07,163 --> 00:15:08,329

Hé.

335

00:15:08,414 --> 00:15:09,514

- Quelque chose ?

- Pas encore.

336

00:15:09,582 --> 00:15:11,166

J'espérais que vu qu'il n'a pas plu

337

00:15:11,250 --> 00:15:12,751

ces derniers jours,

on aurait de la chance.

338

00:15:12,818 --> 00:15:14,836

As-tu déjà le mandat pour

exhumer le cercueil de Straithan?

339

00:15:14,920 --> 00:15:16,671

Non, j'y travaille toujours.

340

00:15:16,756 --> 00:15:19,874

Si tu trouves son sang ici,

ça pourrait m'aider à convaincre le juge

341

00:15:19,959 --> 00:15:22,493

qu'il est toujours parmi les vivants.

- Ouais.

342

00:15:22,545 --> 00:15:23,928

Mahalo, Kahu (Merci, Kahu).

343

00:15:23,996 --> 00:15:25,180

Pas de problème,

sistah (ma soeur).

344

00:15:25,264 --> 00:15:27,265

Les kupuna (ancêtres) t'aiment bien.

345

00:15:32,555 --> 00:15:33,555

Tu vas te chopper quelques

déferlantes plus tard?

346

00:15:33,639 --> 00:15:35,607

- Ouais.

- Les vagues devraient être en feu.

347

00:15:35,674 --> 00:15:37,142

- On se voit là-bas.

- D'accord.

348

00:15:37,209 --> 00:15:39,561

Kono, viens voir ça.

349

00:15:39,645 --> 00:15:40,779

C'est du sang.

350

00:15:40,846 --> 00:15:42,230

La colocataire avait raison.

351

00:15:42,314 --> 00:15:44,783

On dirait que quelqu'un a fait

une méchante chute.

352

00:15:57,746 --> 00:16:00,165

Ce n'est pas la première fois que

353

00:16:00,216 --> 00:16:02,383

Nikki Royce a été enfermée

pour problèmes mentaux.

354

00:16:02,468 --> 00:16:03,968

A l'adolescence, elle a été hospitalisée

355

00:16:04,036 --> 00:16:05,220

pour troubles d'alimentation.

356

00:16:05,287 --> 00:16:06,471

D'accord.

357

00:16:07,807 --> 00:16:09,257

Donc, euh...

cette fête d'Halloween

358

00:16:09,341 --> 00:16:11,309

à laquelle tu es allée,

qui l'organisait?

359

00:16:11,376 --> 00:16:12,660

Oh, juste un ami.

360

00:16:12,728 --> 00:16:14,095

Ah.

361

00:16:14,163 --> 00:16:15,897

Tu y es allée seule?

362

00:16:15,981 --> 00:16:17,649

C'est ici.

363

00:16:17,716 --> 00:16:19,550

Ne la laissez pas s'approcher

trop près de vous.

364

00:16:19,602 --> 00:16:21,436

C'est une griffeuse.

365

00:16:23,889 --> 00:16:28,126

Ecoutez, j'ai déjà dit que je ne retournerai

plus dans la cousine.

366

00:16:28,194 --> 00:16:29,277

Vous ne pouvez pas m'y forcer.

367

00:16:29,361 --> 00:16:30,411

La cousine?

368

00:16:30,496 --> 00:16:32,163

La cuisine. Cuisine!

369

00:16:32,231 --> 00:16:33,248

Il y a...

Il y a des insectes.

370

00:16:33,332 --> 00:16:34,398

Il y a des insectes.

371

00:16:36,568 --> 00:16:38,586

Ecoutez, je leur ai dit...

Je leur ai dit, et...

372

00:16:38,671 --> 00:16:41,239

Donc, Nikki, nous avons besoin de te parler de Greg.

373

00:16:41,290 --> 00:16:42,590

D'accord?

374

00:16:42,675 --> 00:16:44,676

Regardez. Les lumières.

375

00:16:44,743 --> 00:16:46,511

Il y a quelque chose dans les lumières.

376

00:16:46,578 --> 00:16:49,247

Ca vous poignarde.

377

00:16:49,298 --> 00:16:51,015

- Nikki, parlez-nous de Greg.

- Non.

378

00:16:51,083 --> 00:16:52,634

Non, je ne peux pas.

Non, non.

379

00:16:52,718 --> 00:16:54,302

Non, je ne peux pas.

380

00:16:54,386 --> 00:16:56,521

- Je ne peux pas.

- Nous savons qu'il est en vie.

381

00:16:57,973 --> 00:17:00,141

Vous avez

382

00:17:00,226 --> 00:17:01,309

falsifier ensemble sa mort.

383

00:17:01,393 --> 00:17:03,361

Vous avez prétendu être folle

384

00:17:03,428 --> 00:17:05,429

pensée que l'hôpital vous laissera sortir

385

00:17:05,481 --> 00:17:07,115

dans quelques années, c'est ça ?

386

00:17:12,121 --> 00:17:13,655

Oh, merci Dieu.

387

00:17:13,739 --> 00:17:15,540

Merci.

388

00:17:15,607 --> 00:17:17,542

Merci beaucoup.

389

00:17:17,609 --> 00:17:19,944

Okay, personne ne va me croire.

390

00:17:19,995 --> 00:17:22,080

D'accord, alors, où est-il?

391

00:17:23,782 --> 00:17:27,168

Il vient la nuit et me parle.

392

00:17:28,220 --> 00:17:30,054

Ah.

393

00:17:30,122 --> 00:17:32,390

Vous devez leur dire.

394

00:17:32,457 --> 00:17:33,558

Il ne me croiront pas.

395

00:17:33,625 --> 00:17:35,793

Hmm.

396

00:17:35,844 --> 00:17:37,845

- Je lui ai tiré dessus et je l'ai tué !

- Sur qui avez vous tiré,

397

00:17:37,930 --> 00:17:39,363

Nikki ? Qui avez vous tué ?

398

00:17:39,414 --> 00:17:41,516

Greg.

399

00:17:41,600 --> 00:17:43,601

Après il est revenu.

400

00:17:44,653 --> 00:17:47,021

Il me hante.

401

00:17:47,106 --> 00:17:49,807

Pouvez-vous m'aider,

s'il vous plait?

402

00:17:49,858 --> 00:17:53,077

Je veux juste qu'il parte

pour que je puisse dormir un peu.

403

00:17:53,145 --> 00:17:55,330

S'il vous plait ?

404

00:17:55,414 --> 00:17:57,315

D'accord, donc

405

00:17:57,366 --> 00:17:59,483

ton évaluation professionnelle,

est-elle juste une bonne menteuse?

406

00:17:59,535 --> 00:18:02,153

En l'espace de 15 minutes,

nous avons été témoin d'aphasie,

407

00:18:02,204 --> 00:18:05,089

de dermatillomania, de paranoïa,

et de vives hallucinations.

408

00:18:05,157 --> 00:18:07,325

Mon évaluation professionnelle,

cette fille est givrée.

409

00:18:07,376 --> 00:18:09,510

Ouais, un peu,

mais dit-elle la vérité ?

410

00:18:09,595 --> 00:18:10,929

A-t-elle tué Straithan?

411

00:18:10,996 --> 00:18:12,830

Eh bien, elle pense l'avoir fait,

mais il n'y a aucun moyen pour savoir

412

00:18:12,881 --> 00:18:14,465

si elle l'a tué ou si elle a tué

quelqu'un d'autre.

413

00:18:14,516 --> 00:18:16,050

D'accord, écoute,

appelle Danny

414

00:18:16,135 --> 00:18:17,468

pour qu'il te rejoigne

à l'appartement de Straithan.

415

00:18:17,519 --> 00:18:18,886

et peut-être que les experts

médico-légal pourront nous dire qui

416

00:18:18,971 --> 00:18:20,271

elle a réellement tué.

417

00:18:21,890 --> 00:18:23,841

L'appartement était disponible

418

00:18:23,892 --> 00:18:25,476

il y a15 minutes,

et maintenant, il est loué ?

419

00:18:25,527 --> 00:18:26,644

ça n'a aucun sens .

420

00:18:26,712 --> 00:18:28,112

Quoi, vous essayez de me racketter ?

421

00:18:28,180 --> 00:18:29,864

Eh bien, je suis un flic.

Qu'est-ce que vous en dites ?

422

00:18:29,949 --> 00:18:31,532

Allo ?

423

00:18:31,617 --> 00:18:32,951

Allo ?!

424

00:18:33,018 --> 00:18:34,402

Si vous cherchez un appartement,

425

00:18:34,486 --> 00:18:36,955

il me semble qu'il y en a un

de libre dans cette immeuble.

426

00:18:37,022 --> 00:18:39,907

Oh, euh, oui, c'est,

c'est gentil, mais je pense

427

00:18:39,992 --> 00:18:41,409

que c'est un peu trop

cher pour moi. Merci.

428

00:18:41,493 --> 00:18:43,594

Vous allez devoir

prendre les escaliers,

429

00:18:43,662 --> 00:18:46,080

quelque chose ne va

pas avec l'ascenseur.

430

00:18:46,165 --> 00:18:48,049

Bien sûr, quelque chose

ne va pas avec l'ascenseur,

431

00:18:48,133 --> 00:18:49,217

je suis maudit.

432

00:18:49,285 --> 00:18:50,668

- Oh.

- Hey.

433

00:18:50,719 --> 00:18:53,137

Donc, qu'est-ce que nous avons ?

434

00:18:53,205 --> 00:18:55,423

Eh bien, plein de sang à

tester comme tu peux le voir.

435

00:18:55,507 --> 00:18:56,591

Par chance, les nettoyeurs

de scène de crime

436

00:18:56,659 --> 00:18:58,393

sont parti.

Nous allons comparer

437

00:18:58,477 --> 00:19:00,595

l'ADN des tâches de sang

à l'ADN de ses cheveux.

438

00:19:00,679 --> 00:19:02,563

Si ils correspondent entre eux,

Greg Straithan est mort.

439

00:19:02,648 --> 00:19:04,232

Sinon, il est sûrement notre coupable.

440

00:19:04,316 --> 00:19:06,100

La propriétaire me parlait

justement des habitudes de Straithan.

441

00:19:06,185 --> 00:19:07,718

- Comment allez-vous ?

- Bien.

442

00:19:07,770 --> 00:19:08,886

Il y a deux chambres ?

443

00:19:08,937 --> 00:19:10,905

Oui.

444

00:19:10,973 --> 00:19:13,741

Euh, Straithan, avait-il, euh...

ressemblait-il au genre de gars

445

00:19:13,826 --> 00:19:15,159

qui falsifierait sa propre mort ?

446

00:19:15,227 --> 00:19:16,277

Eh bien, c'est certain

qu'il était très secret.

447

00:19:16,362 --> 00:19:18,246

je n'ai jamais vraiment

su quel était son métier.

448

00:19:18,330 --> 00:19:19,914

Il payait toujours tout en liquide.

449

00:19:19,999 --> 00:19:22,050

Hein. Il est sympa, ce tapis.

450

00:19:22,117 --> 00:19:23,584

Ce tapis ici, qu'est-ce que c'est ?

451

00:19:23,669 --> 00:19:26,120

- C'est Berbère?

- Oui.

452

00:19:26,205 --> 00:19:29,090

Huh. C'est ce que je pensais.

453

00:19:29,174 --> 00:19:31,459

Hum, a-t-il déjà eu l'air effrayé ?

454

00:19:31,527 --> 00:19:32,994

Peut-être qu'il se

cachait de quelqu'un ?

455

00:19:33,062 --> 00:19:35,713

Oh, je ne pense pas. C'était une

personne assez intimidante.

456

00:19:35,764 --> 00:19:38,099

C'est vraiment joli.

Marbre italien.

457

00:19:38,167 --> 00:19:41,769

Vous savez, euh, d'après la loi,

vous savez, vous allez devoir

458

00:19:41,837 --> 00:19:43,638

dire qu'il y a eu un meurtre ici.

459

00:19:43,722 --> 00:19:45,589

Vous allez probablement devoir

diviser le montant du loyer par deux

460

00:19:45,641 --> 00:19:46,808

Vous pensez ?

461

00:19:46,892 --> 00:19:48,860

Oui, au moins. Je veux dire,

la plupart des gens ne voudront pas

462

00:19:48,927 --> 00:19:51,245

louer un appartement où

il y a eu un violent meurtre.

463

00:19:51,313 --> 00:19:52,947

Mauvaise publicité,

des choses comme ça.

464

00:19:53,015 --> 00:19:56,367

Moi, personnellement, ça ne me dérange

pas qu'il y ait eu un peu de sang.

465

00:19:56,435 --> 00:19:59,537

Okay, Chin vient d'avoit le mandat

pour exhumer le cercueil de Straithan.

466

00:20:01,407 --> 00:20:02,940

Tout ce que je peux

vous dire, c'est que

467

00:20:02,991 --> 00:20:05,910

la dernière fois que j'ai vu

ce cercueil, il était dedans.

468

00:20:05,978 --> 00:20:07,128

Très bien,

469

00:20:07,212 --> 00:20:09,664

mais êtes vous certain que

c'était le corps de Greg Straithan?

470

00:20:09,748 --> 00:20:11,299

Je sais uniquement

ce qu'on m'a dit.

471

00:20:11,383 --> 00:20:14,502

Je vais avoir des problèmes

pour cela, n'est ce pas?

472

00:20:14,586 --> 00:20:16,204

tu as manipulé

un propriétaire en louant

473

00:20:16,271 --> 00:20:18,139

l'appartement d'un

mec mort à taux réduits

474

00:20:18,207 --> 00:20:19,607

- C'est bien cela?

- Absolument.

475

00:20:19,675 --> 00:20:20,975

C'est interessant.

476

00:20:21,043 --> 00:20:22,410

C'est le mouvement bébé.

477

00:20:22,478 --> 00:20:23,845

Je pense, tous

les détéctives

478

00:20:23,912 --> 00:20:25,229

quand ils rentrent chez eux ont

les plus beaux tapis.

479

00:20:25,297 --> 00:20:27,014

- Je te le dis.

- Huh.

480

00:20:31,520 --> 00:20:33,354

Permettez-moi de sortir

le disque en disant

481

00:20:33,439 --> 00:20:36,157

Je pense que c'est mauvais de perturber

le lieu de repos final de quelqu'un.

482

00:20:36,241 --> 00:20:37,942

Okay. Noté sur le disque.

483

00:20:37,993 --> 00:20:39,360

Maintenant ouvrez le.

484

00:20:49,621 --> 00:20:51,005

Okay. Attendez une minute.

485

00:20:51,090 --> 00:20:52,540

Cette tombe

n'a pas été touchée ?

486

00:20:54,493 --> 00:20:57,095

Y a t-il le moindre signe

que quelqu'un aurait pu l'atteindre ?

487

00:20:57,162 --> 00:20:59,046

Non, rien du tout.

488

00:21:01,433 --> 00:21:04,018

Alors je suis complètement

incapable d'expliquer cela.

489

00:21:11,291 --> 00:21:12,708

Donc j'ai

490

00:21:12,709 --> 00:21:14,126

de bonnes nouvelles

et de mauvaises nouvelles,

491

00:21:14,194 --> 00:21:15,695

ça dépendent de l'endroit

ou vous vous situez

492

00:21:15,762 --> 00:21:17,863

Votre suspect

est, en fait, mort.

493

00:21:17,931 --> 00:21:19,165

Donc, qu'as tu trouvé ?

494

00:21:19,232 --> 00:21:20,332

Donc, les deux

échantillons d'ADN

495

00:21:20,400 --> 00:21:21,600

de l'appartement de Greg Straithan

496

00:21:21,668 --> 00:21:23,202

le sang de

la scène de crime

497

00:21:23,270 --> 00:21:25,104

et les cheveux de

sa brosse, ils correspondent.

498

00:21:25,172 --> 00:21:27,740

Okay, sauf si Straithan

s'est réincarné en zombie,

499

00:21:27,808 --> 00:21:29,508

il est définitivement

et simplement mort.

500

00:21:29,576 --> 00:21:32,995

Donc en considérant que

sa tête n'était pas intacte

501

00:21:33,062 --> 00:21:36,415

il n'a pas pu se

réincarner en zombie.

502

00:21:36,500 --> 00:21:37,583

C'est cela.

503

00:21:37,667 --> 00:21:39,251

Maintenant,

pour la courbe de la balle.

504

00:21:39,336 --> 00:21:41,370

Le sang que Kono

a trouvé au "heiau"

505

00:21:41,421 --> 00:21:43,789

Et bien il appartenait

à un sujet inconnu

506

00:21:43,874 --> 00:21:45,124

Il ne correspond ni à Straithan,

507

00:21:45,208 --> 00:21:47,126

ni aux victimes,

ou quelqu'un dans le système.

508

00:21:47,210 --> 00:21:49,261

Okay, donc, il y a toutes les chances

que le sang appartienne à notre tueur.

509

00:21:49,346 --> 00:21:51,514

Hey. C'est Kono !

510

00:21:51,581 --> 00:21:53,682

Fong a trouvé quelque

chose sur la caméra

511

00:21:53,750 --> 00:21:55,351

Elle va le voir maintenant.

512

00:21:55,418 --> 00:21:56,752

J'ai commencé par isoler

les images

513

00:21:56,803 --> 00:21:58,521

à partir du point

où la caméra va dans l'air

514

00:21:58,588 --> 00:22:00,973

Cela m'a pris du temps, mais

après démultiplexage

515

00:22:01,057 --> 00:22:02,358

et sortie le segment

de l'interface,

516

00:22:02,425 --> 00:22:03,692

J'ai été capable d'améliorer

517

00:22:03,760 --> 00:22:04,860

et mettre en évidence

les trames individuelles

518

00:22:04,928 --> 00:22:06,312

C'est le sac polochon

519

00:22:06,396 --> 00:22:08,197

La caméra est allée

droit sur elle.

520

00:22:08,264 --> 00:22:10,149

La bonne nouvelle est....

521

00:22:10,233 --> 00:22:12,651

Le sac était ouvert.

522

00:22:13,887 --> 00:22:15,821

Cela ressemble à

une main pour toi?

523

00:22:15,906 --> 00:22:18,273

Oui, et je parie qu'il appartient

à Greg Straithan.

524

00:22:18,325 --> 00:22:19,875

Cela expliquerait

525

00:22:19,943 --> 00:22:22,294

comment ses empreintes digitales

se sont retrouvées sur la victime.

526

00:22:22,379 --> 00:22:24,547

Il n'était pas au "heiau",

mais ses doigts y étaient.

527

00:22:24,614 --> 00:22:26,215

Alors, Kat tombe à la renverse

528

00:22:26,282 --> 00:22:28,384

Elle tombe la tête la

première dans le sac,

529

00:22:28,451 --> 00:22:30,803

il y a un tranfert d'enpreintes

digitales sur ses lunettes.

530

00:22:30,887 --> 00:22:32,955

Ce que je ne peux pas expliquer

c'est comment sa main a fini

531

00:22:33,006 --> 00:22:35,057

à 7kms du lieu où il

était censé être enterré.

532

00:22:36,626 --> 00:22:38,010

C'est à cause du tueur.

533

00:22:38,094 --> 00:22:39,895

Rien n'a été volé au "heiau"

534

00:22:39,963 --> 00:22:41,096

Il cachait quelque chose.

535

00:22:41,148 --> 00:22:43,149

Je parie que je sais où est

le reste de Straithan.

536

00:22:43,233 --> 00:22:45,584

Merci, Fong.

537

00:22:59,416 --> 00:23:01,367

Oh, super.

Il y a Gabby.

538

00:23:01,451 --> 00:23:03,118

Tu savais qu'elle

allait être là ?

539

00:23:03,170 --> 00:23:04,787

Parce que du devrais me l'avoir

dit si tu le savais

540

00:23:04,855 --> 00:23:07,122

Je ne savais pas, mais, euh, cela

ne va pas t'aider.

541

00:23:07,174 --> 00:23:09,258

Tu dois juste être

toi-même. Sois toi-même.

542

00:23:09,325 --> 00:23:10,626

Salut, Gabby.

543

00:23:12,161 --> 00:23:13,262

Qu'est ce que tu fais ici ?

544

00:23:15,298 --> 00:23:19,051

Le conseil d'enterrement m'a envoyé

pour s'assurer que l'iwi est protégé

545

00:23:19,135 --> 00:23:21,604

Bien, bien, l'iwi...

546

00:23:22,606 --> 00:23:23,772

Ce sont les os.

547

00:23:23,840 --> 00:23:25,391

- Je sais ça.

- La Protection de l'importance culturelle.

548

00:23:25,475 --> 00:23:26,692

de ce site est, euh...

549

00:23:26,776 --> 00:23:29,478

C'est extrèmement

important pour Daniel.

550

00:23:31,514 --> 00:23:33,315

N'as-tu pas quelqu'un

pour aller tirer ?

551

00:23:33,366 --> 00:23:34,483

Non. Non

552

00:23:34,534 --> 00:23:36,535

Au fait, j'ai entendu que vous les gars

aviez eu un très agréable dîner.

553

00:23:36,620 --> 00:23:38,370

- Euh...euh...

- Oui nous avons eu un très agréable dîner.

554

00:23:38,455 --> 00:23:40,623

- Nous... c'était...c'était très agréable.

- C'était bien.

555

00:23:40,690 --> 00:23:42,458

J'ai passé du bon temps. Oui.

556

00:23:42,525 --> 00:23:45,294

Au fait, Grace veut

vraiment aller au musée,

557

00:23:45,361 --> 00:23:48,080

et, euh, je pensais peut-être que je pouvais

vous poser des micros pour une visite privée

558

00:23:48,164 --> 00:23:49,882

J'aimerais rencontrer Grace.

559

00:23:49,966 --> 00:23:52,084

Bien. Bien.

560

00:23:52,168 --> 00:23:53,252

Euh, Dr. Asano, nous prévoyons

561

00:23:53,336 --> 00:23:54,753

l'utilisation de géo-radars

562

00:23:54,838 --> 00:23:56,005

pour localiser

les restes de Straithan.

563

00:23:56,056 --> 00:23:58,007

Cela utilise la haute

fréquence des ondes EM

564

00:23:58,058 --> 00:23:59,425

pour voir sous le sol.

565

00:23:59,509 --> 00:24:00,843

De cette facon, nous

n'aurons pas à

566

00:24:00,910 --> 00:24:02,394

creuser aveuglément.

567

00:24:02,479 --> 00:24:03,846

Je suis sur que le conseil

sera reconnaissant

568

00:24:03,897 --> 00:24:05,180

de vos éfforts.

Bien.

569

00:24:05,232 --> 00:24:07,099

Danny! Quelqu'un a jeté

570

00:24:07,183 --> 00:24:08,484

une pierre dans ta fenêtre.

571

00:24:08,551 --> 00:24:10,653

Oui, je sais. C'est arrivé

la nuit du meurtre, Chin.

572

00:24:10,720 --> 00:24:12,187

-Gardes-y, bébe.

-Non, frérot.

573

00:24:12,239 --> 00:24:13,606

L'autre.

574

00:24:15,242 --> 00:24:16,558

Comment cela a t-il pu arriver ?

575

00:24:16,610 --> 00:24:18,611

Eh bien, peut-être c'est

la conséquence du rejet

576

00:24:18,695 --> 00:24:20,863

de toutes les croyances

spirituelles d'une culture.

577

00:24:20,914 --> 00:24:22,581

Oh, c'est vrai, un fantôme.

578

00:24:22,666 --> 00:24:24,566

Un fantôme a cassé ma fenêtre.

C'est vraiment ce que tu crois ?

579

00:24:24,618 --> 00:24:25,834

Eh bien, ce qu'on croit,

580

00:24:25,902 --> 00:24:27,736

Danny, qui ne nous dit pas

que nos ancêtres sont ici avec nous

581

00:24:27,787 --> 00:24:29,872

comme ils étaient

quand ils étaient vivants.

582

00:24:31,007 --> 00:24:32,591

Tu... D'accord. D'accord.

583

00:24:32,676 --> 00:24:34,076

Laisses-moi te poser une question.

584

00:24:34,127 --> 00:24:36,211

Le HPD sécurise ce domaine, correct?

585

00:24:36,263 --> 00:24:37,630

Correct. Ils ont fermé

l'accès à la route qui descend

586

00:24:37,714 --> 00:24:38,964

la nuit du meurtre.

587

00:24:39,049 --> 00:24:41,350

D'accord. Imagines juste un instant

588

00:24:41,417 --> 00:24:43,619

qu'un être humain vivant qui

respire fasse cela à ma voiture

589

00:24:43,687 --> 00:24:44,887

Je sais c'est fou.

590

00:24:44,938 --> 00:24:46,221

Mais imagine juste.

591

00:24:46,273 --> 00:24:48,557

Comment se fait-il que quelqu'un

soit arrivé ici, soit entré

592

00:24:48,608 --> 00:24:50,776

soit parti, personne n'a rien dit, 2 fois ?

593

00:24:50,844 --> 00:24:52,361

- Vas-y.

- Il n'est jamais parti.

594

00:24:53,396 --> 00:24:54,530

Le gars sans-abri

595

00:24:54,597 --> 00:24:56,282

Les gars sans-abri nous a dit

de ne pas venir ici

596

00:24:56,366 --> 00:24:57,616

la nuit du meurtre.

-Ce qui expliquerait

597

00:24:57,701 --> 00:24:59,234

l'histoire du colocataire

à propos de l'homme

598

00:24:59,286 --> 00:25:01,036

qui accostait les victimes

quelques nuits auparavant.

599

00:25:01,104 --> 00:25:02,454

C'est bon,

Qu'allons nous dire ?

600

00:25:02,539 --> 00:25:03,539

Notre tueur habite ici?

601

00:25:03,606 --> 00:25:05,157

Je sais ou je me cacherais.

602

00:25:12,299 --> 00:25:14,516

Tu sais, si j'étais sans-abri,

603

00:25:14,584 --> 00:25:16,752

vivant à Hawaii,

il y a environ 96 000 endroits

604

00:25:16,803 --> 00:25:18,887

où je choisirais

d'habiter avant celui ci.

605

00:25:18,955 --> 00:25:20,806

C'est privé.

606

00:25:20,890 --> 00:25:23,175

Protection naturelle

contre les élements.

607

00:25:23,259 --> 00:25:25,894

Accès au "heiau".

608

00:25:30,433 --> 00:25:31,900

D'accord.

609

00:25:31,968 --> 00:25:34,853

Tu sais, c'est très facile

de se perdre ici.

610

00:25:34,938 --> 00:25:37,456

Il sait probablement

exactement où il va.

611

00:25:40,476 --> 00:25:42,244

Tu as juste besoin de savoir

ou regarder.

612

00:25:43,279 --> 00:25:45,280

Ça m'aide.

613

00:25:57,644 --> 00:25:59,678

Les anciens enterrements Hawaiens

614

00:25:59,763 --> 00:26:01,764

ont tendance à n'être

pas plus profond qu'1 mètre.

615

00:26:01,831 --> 00:26:03,599

D'accord. Donc rien au dessus

616

00:26:03,666 --> 00:26:05,501

Notre gars et plus probablement

en dessous de cette marque

617

00:26:08,054 --> 00:26:10,222

Oh, j'ai quelque chose ici !

618

00:26:10,290 --> 00:26:12,107

Qu'est ce que c'est que ça,

à environ 2 mètres de profondeur?

619

00:26:12,175 --> 00:26:14,276

On dirait qu'on a trouvé le reste

de Greg Straithan.

620

00:26:15,495 --> 00:26:16,862

Wow.

Il y en a un autre

621

00:26:16,946 --> 00:26:18,230

de l'autre côté du champ

622

00:26:18,298 --> 00:26:19,431

deux mètres et demi plus bas.

623

00:26:19,499 --> 00:26:21,617

Je croyais qu'il n'y avait

qu'un seul corps

624

00:26:21,684 --> 00:26:23,002

C'était supposé.

625

00:26:23,069 --> 00:26:25,120

On dirait qu'il y a plusieurs corps ici.

626

00:26:25,188 --> 00:26:27,239

Vous en avez trois

ou quatres là dessous.

627

00:26:27,323 --> 00:26:28,991

J'ai quelque chose!

628

00:26:29,042 --> 00:26:31,310

D'accord, je vais avoir

besoin d'une radio.

629

00:26:33,797 --> 00:26:35,587

Steve, nous avons plus

d'un corps ici.

630

00:26:36,633 --> 00:26:37,883

Répètes.

631

00:26:37,967 --> 00:26:39,534

Il y en a des dizaines

partout dans le "heiau"

632

00:26:39,586 --> 00:26:41,003

J'ai déja vu quelque chose

comme ça dans le passé.

633

00:26:41,054 --> 00:26:43,138

Ça pourrait être le débarras

d'un tueur en série.

634

00:26:56,770 --> 00:26:57,903

Je vois du sang.

635

00:26:57,987 --> 00:26:59,238

Beaucoup de sang.

636

00:27:00,857 --> 00:27:02,508

Je vois le sac blanc de la vidéo.

637

00:27:03,893 --> 00:27:05,027

Et il est vide, Danny.

638

00:27:06,212 --> 00:27:08,113

C'est bon!

Les mains en l'air.

639

00:27:08,181 --> 00:27:09,231

Les mains en l'air vraiment maintenant !

640

00:27:09,282 --> 00:27:10,499

Lâchez votre arme.

641

00:27:10,566 --> 00:27:12,000

Je vous avais prévenu

de ne pas venir ici.

642

00:27:12,068 --> 00:27:13,736

Lâchez votre arme maintenant.

643

00:27:13,803 --> 00:27:14,920

Mettez-vous à genoux.

644

00:27:18,842 --> 00:27:20,242

A genoux.

645

00:27:20,293 --> 00:27:21,510

A genoux.

646

00:27:24,297 --> 00:27:25,964

Les mains derrière la tête.

croisez vos doigts.

647

00:27:32,922 --> 00:27:35,090

Vous avez irrité les esprits.

648

00:27:35,141 --> 00:27:37,526

Je sais. C'est ce que j

n'arrête pas d'entendre.

649

00:27:40,013 --> 00:27:41,447

On y va.

650

00:27:53,999 --> 00:27:56,634

Votre nom est Samuel Lee.

651

00:27:56,701 --> 00:27:58,419

Vous êtes un ancien combatant.

652

00:27:58,503 --> 00:28:00,137

Vietnam.

653

00:28:05,560 --> 00:28:07,811

Depuis combien de temps

êtes vous sans-abri, Samuel?

654

00:28:12,984 --> 00:28:14,551

D'accord.

655

00:28:16,554 --> 00:28:17,938

Nous faisons des test sur

ce sac en ce moment.

656

00:28:18,023 --> 00:28:19,890

Il a joué un rôle

657

00:28:19,941 --> 00:28:21,725

vous voulez nous dire

658

00:28:21,776 --> 00:28:24,061

comment il est arrivé là?

659

00:28:24,112 --> 00:28:26,280

Non. Il était vide

quand je l'ai trouvé.

660

00:28:28,616 --> 00:28:29,667

Il contaminait le "heiau".

661

00:28:29,734 --> 00:28:30,901

Vous avez une entaille assez méchante

662

00:28:30,952 --> 00:28:32,286

sur votre front.

663

00:28:32,370 --> 00:28:33,754

Voulez-vous me dire comment

vous vous l'êtes faite ?

664

00:28:33,838 --> 00:28:34,922

Gardez à l'esprit...

665

00:28:35,006 --> 00:28:37,124

Je connais déjà la réponse.

666

00:28:41,963 --> 00:28:45,849

Ils étaient des intrus.

667

00:28:47,352 --> 00:28:49,269

Trop de gens.

668

00:28:49,354 --> 00:28:53,256

Trop de gens marchaient

sur les iwi (os) des tupuna (ancêtres)

669

00:28:53,308 --> 00:28:55,059

Vous avez

attaqué ces deux gamins

670

00:28:55,110 --> 00:28:56,259

Et ils ont riposté

671

00:28:56,311 --> 00:28:58,228

et vous êtes tombé,

frappé votre tête contre une pierre.

672

00:28:58,279 --> 00:28:59,947

Est ce que c'est ce que vous pensez ?

673

00:29:00,031 --> 00:29:02,199

Ils avaient profané la terre sacrée

674

00:29:02,266 --> 00:29:03,484

Donc vous les avez frappé

à mort avec une pelle ?

675

00:29:04,652 --> 00:29:06,320

Je les ai prévenu de rester à distance.

676

00:29:06,404 --> 00:29:08,205

Comme je vous ai prévenu.

677

00:29:09,824 --> 00:29:13,127

Mais ils...

Ils ne voulaient pas écouter.

678

00:29:13,211 --> 00:29:15,612

Vous protégez toujours le "heiau"?

679

00:29:15,663 --> 00:29:17,280

Il veut que je le protège.

680

00:29:17,332 --> 00:29:19,416

Il a besoin de moi pour garder ses secrets.

681

00:29:21,086 --> 00:29:23,637

Comme il maintient vos secrets,

c'est cela, Samuel?

682

00:29:23,722 --> 00:29:26,140

je pense, c'est un parfait endroit

pour déposer un corps

683

00:29:26,224 --> 00:29:28,792

Personne n'aurait jamais

osé regarder là

684

00:29:28,843 --> 00:29:32,229

Non. Non, la terre est sacrée.

685

00:29:32,296 --> 00:29:33,564

Kapu (tabou)

686

00:29:33,631 --> 00:29:36,299

ils... ils seront punis.

687

00:29:36,351 --> 00:29:37,684

par les esprits du mal

688

00:29:37,769 --> 00:29:39,219

et bla, bla, bla.

689

00:29:39,287 --> 00:29:40,821

euh...

690

00:29:40,905 --> 00:29:42,773

Et par rapport à la pierre

qui a cassé ma fenêtre ?

691

00:29:42,824 --> 00:29:45,325

C'est un esprit du mal aussi?

Non je pense que c'était vous.

692

00:29:45,410 --> 00:29:48,662

Vous aviez besoin d'apprendre le respect!

693

00:29:50,448 --> 00:29:53,117

Qu'arrive t'il aux personnes

qui ne repectent pas le "heiau"?

694

00:29:54,819 --> 00:29:57,871

Ils ouvrent la porte.

695

00:30:01,209 --> 00:30:04,595

La mort va vous cherchez maintenant.

696

00:30:07,465 --> 00:30:08,766

Je ne sais pas.

697

00:30:08,833 --> 00:30:10,684

Il est clairement perturbé, mais ce

n'est pas pour ça que je ne l'aime pas.

698

00:30:10,769 --> 00:30:12,002

Qu'est ce que tu n'aimes pas?

699

00:30:12,053 --> 00:30:14,254

Je veux dire, uh, il avait

le sac de la scène de crime,

700

00:30:14,322 --> 00:30:16,339

Il avoue avoir agressé

ces gamins, et il est obsédé

701

00:30:16,391 --> 00:30:17,775

par le fait d'éloigner les gens du "heiau".

702

00:30:17,842 --> 00:30:19,026

Très bien, ce qui pose la question,

703

00:30:19,094 --> 00:30:20,861

aurait-il creusé pour enterrer les corps?

704

00:30:20,945 --> 00:30:22,512

Je ne pense pas.

En plus, si nous cherchons

705

00:30:22,564 --> 00:30:23,730

un tueur en serie,

nous cherchons donc

706

00:30:23,815 --> 00:30:24,898

quelqu'un d'organisé, méticuleux.

707

00:30:24,983 --> 00:30:26,533

Samuel ne correspond pas du tout au profil.

708

00:30:26,618 --> 00:30:28,185

Je ne suis pas convaincu

que ce soit un tueur en serie.

709

00:30:28,236 --> 00:30:29,820

Je veux dire, qu'est ce que

ça a à voir avec Greg Straithan?

710

00:30:29,871 --> 00:30:31,438

On sait qui l'a tué pas vrai?

Nikki Royce.

711

00:30:31,506 --> 00:30:33,624

Pourquoi un tueur en serie voudrait enterrer

712

00:30:33,691 --> 00:30:35,709

une personne déja morte

dans son dépotoir.

713

00:30:35,794 --> 00:30:37,077

Je pense qu'on peut l'expliquer.

714

00:30:37,162 --> 00:30:40,164

En tout, il y avait 32 victimes différentes,

715

00:30:40,215 --> 00:30:41,915

démembrées et enterrées dans le "heiau".

716

00:30:42,000 --> 00:30:43,517

Ils sont tous mort au cours

des 2 dernières années.

717

00:30:43,585 --> 00:30:45,502

Nous en avons déjà identifié trois

718

00:30:45,553 --> 00:30:47,871

grâce aux données ADN,

James Yamamoto,

719

00:30:47,922 --> 00:30:49,706

Chuck Anderson

et Emma Kirkland.

720

00:30:49,757 --> 00:30:51,008

Mais voici la partie interessante.

721

00:30:51,059 --> 00:30:52,509

Emma est mort dans un accident de voiture,

722

00:30:52,560 --> 00:30:54,227

Chuck avait un anévrisme cérébral,

723

00:30:54,312 --> 00:30:56,063

et James est mort d'une crise cardiaque.

724

00:30:56,147 --> 00:30:57,380

Quelqu'un veut deviner

725

00:30:57,432 --> 00:30:59,049

ce qu'ils ont tous en commun?

726

00:30:59,100 --> 00:31:00,317

Eh bien, aucun d'eux n'a été assassiné.

727

00:31:00,384 --> 00:31:01,702

Exactement.

728

00:31:01,769 --> 00:31:03,553

Ça veut dire qu'il n'y a pas

de tueur en serie sur l'Ile.

729

00:31:03,605 --> 00:31:06,607

Chaque corps à une

partie spécifique manquante.

730

00:31:06,691 --> 00:31:08,742

Un travail chirurgical très précis.

731

00:31:08,827 --> 00:31:10,894

Celui qui a fait ça a forcement

des connaissances en médecine.

732

00:31:10,945 --> 00:31:12,162

Okay, eh bien, ça...

733

00:31:12,230 --> 00:31:13,831

Je veux dire,

ça exclue totalement Samel Lee.

734

00:31:13,898 --> 00:31:14,832

En plus,

735

00:31:14,899 --> 00:31:16,216

le sang que vous avez

trouvé sur sa machette

736

00:31:16,284 --> 00:31:18,085

et dans son campement...

c'était du sanglier.

737

00:31:18,169 --> 00:31:19,286

Il venait de tuer son dîner.

738

00:31:19,370 --> 00:31:21,672

Okay, donc quelles sont les

parties manquantes exactement?

739

00:31:21,739 --> 00:31:24,007

Les ligaments et les tendons

des articulations majeures,

740

00:31:24,075 --> 00:31:28,095

les coudes, les genoux, les poignets

ont tous été retirés après la mort.

741

00:31:28,179 --> 00:31:29,246

Sur un intuition,

742

00:31:29,297 --> 00:31:31,398

j'ai demandé à Fong de

faire des test sur le sac

743

00:31:31,466 --> 00:31:33,567

des preuves,

il y avait de l'azote liquide

744

00:31:33,635 --> 00:31:34,968

partout dans le sac.

745

00:31:35,053 --> 00:31:36,303

Je sais pas ce que ça signifie.

746

00:31:36,387 --> 00:31:38,622

Eh bien, l'azote liquide est utilisée

par des entreprises de biotechnologie

747

00:31:38,690 --> 00:31:40,240

pour geler les tissus des donateurs.

748

00:31:40,308 --> 00:31:42,192

La plupart des organes

doivent être prélevés

749

00:31:42,260 --> 00:31:43,477

sur des corps vivants.

750

00:31:43,561 --> 00:31:46,196

Cependant, il y a certains tissus

qui ne peuvent être prélevés

751

00:31:46,264 --> 00:31:48,532

des cadavres plus de

48h après la mort.

752

00:31:48,599 --> 00:31:51,201

Okay, donc notre gars vole des cadavres,

753

00:31:51,269 --> 00:31:52,536

découpe les parties dont il a besoin,

754

00:31:52,603 --> 00:31:54,121

et puis il ramène les corps au "heiau",

755

00:31:54,205 --> 00:31:55,122

là où personne ne regardera.

756

00:31:55,190 --> 00:31:56,290

Exactement.

757

00:31:56,374 --> 00:31:57,624

Nous ne cherchons pas un tueur en serie.

758

00:31:57,709 --> 00:31:58,992

Nous cherchons un homme d'affaire

759

00:31:59,077 --> 00:32:00,994

qui vend des morceaux

de cadavre au marché noir.

760

00:32:04,499 --> 00:32:06,967

Le HPD ne mène actuellement aucune

enquête sur la vente de membres humains.

761

00:32:07,051 --> 00:32:09,086

Cependant, à l'échelle nationale

c'est une activité en plein essor.

762

00:32:09,137 --> 00:32:10,337

Les tissus des cadavres

peuvent être utilisés

763

00:32:10,421 --> 00:32:13,056

dans tout, de la chirurgie du ligament croisé

(LCA), jusqu'à combler les rides.

764

00:32:13,124 --> 00:32:15,842

Ils font des profits en donnant les tissus,

765

00:32:15,927 --> 00:32:17,594

mais exige des frais d'expédition énorme.

766

00:32:17,645 --> 00:32:19,730

Je veux dire, un ligament croisé

seul peut coûter 5000$.

767

00:32:19,797 --> 00:32:21,348

Nous avons aussi trouvé

un autre point commun

768

00:32:21,432 --> 00:32:23,350

entre les trois corps identifiés.

769

00:32:23,434 --> 00:32:24,568

Ils avaient tous leur funéraille

770

00:32:24,635 --> 00:32:25,852

et enterrement au même endroit :

771

00:32:25,937 --> 00:32:28,822

"Makaha Memorial Park and Mortuary."

772

00:32:28,907 --> 00:32:30,157

Ça peut te sembler familier

773

00:32:30,241 --> 00:32:31,325

c'est là où nous avons

exhumé le cercueil de Straithan.

774

00:32:31,409 --> 00:32:32,326

Okay, eh bien, c'est comme ça qu'il obtient

775

00:32:32,410 --> 00:32:33,694

les mains des corps.

776

00:32:33,778 --> 00:32:34,912

Il les intercepte avant qu'ils n'aillent

777

00:32:34,979 --> 00:32:35,979

sous terre. Et d'après

778

00:32:36,030 --> 00:32:37,864

les familles, notre ami

779

00:32:37,949 --> 00:32:39,366

la morgue voisine est celle

780

00:32:39,434 --> 00:32:41,151

qui les a aidé dans leur deuil.

781

00:32:41,202 --> 00:32:42,286

Son nom est Tyler Mitchell.

782

00:32:42,337 --> 00:32:43,503

C'est pas étonnant qu'il était mécontent

783

00:32:43,588 --> 00:32:45,672

d'exhumer la tombe de Straithan.

784

00:32:45,757 --> 00:32:47,124

Il savait déjà qu'elle était vide.

785

00:32:47,175 --> 00:32:48,125

Il a un casier

786

00:32:48,176 --> 00:32:49,376

pour extorsion et fraude.

787

00:32:49,460 --> 00:32:50,627

S'il a tué Kat et Christian,

788

00:32:50,678 --> 00:32:53,130

on peut ajouter "meutre" à cette liste.

789

00:32:58,436 --> 00:33:00,771

Tyler Mitchell, Five-O.

790

00:33:08,396 --> 00:33:09,947

On avance.

791

00:33:14,619 --> 00:33:16,353

La voiture de Mitchell est toujours devant.

792

00:33:16,404 --> 00:33:17,487

Il travaille tard.

793

00:33:17,538 --> 00:33:19,022

Il a beaucoup de corps à découper.

794

00:33:19,073 --> 00:33:20,073

Okay, on doit se séparer.

795

00:33:20,158 --> 00:33:22,292

Chin, le deuxième étage.

796

00:33:22,360 --> 00:33:24,544

Je vais voir derrière.

797

00:33:24,629 --> 00:33:25,545

00:03:10,894 --> 00:03:12,695

Uh, sorry?

39

00:03:13,563 --> 00:03:14,563

Trick or treat?

40

00:03:15,899 --> 00:03:17,783

It's Halloween;

she wants a treat.

41

00:03:17,850 --> 00:03:19,785

Oh, uh, I really

don't have anything.

42

00:03:19,852 --> 00:03:21,036

I'll bet you do.

43

00:03:21,121 --> 00:03:23,288

Why you just go look,

you can find something.

44

00:03:27,494 --> 00:03:29,411

Don't look at me

like that, please.

45

00:03:29,496 --> 00:03:31,196

Do you know how

amazing you look?

46

00:03:31,247 --> 00:03:32,798

You look fantastic.

47

00:03:32,865 --> 00:03:34,967

Okay? It's gonna be great--

we're gonna get so much candy.

48

00:03:35,034 --> 00:03:37,052

Will you trust me for once,

please? Thank you.

49

00:03:37,137 --> 00:03:39,054

Here you go.

Happy Halloween.

50

00:03:40,256 --> 00:03:42,324

Uh, whatever.

51

00:03:49,224 --> 00:03:50,466

What is this?

52

00:03:50,467 --> 00:03:52,317

- A little something for Dad?

- Come here, come here.

53

00:03:52,385 --> 00:03:53,652

Get behind me.

What is this?

54

00:03:53,719 --> 00:03:55,571

What is this?

You giving alcohol to a kid?

55

00:03:55,655 --> 00:03:56,605

I told you,

I didn't have anything.

56

00:03:56,689 --> 00:03:58,741

Hold this.

Listen to me.

57

00:03:58,825 --> 00:04:00,476

How about six

months, six months

58

00:04:00,543 --> 00:04:02,745

for distributing to a minor.

Daddy, let's just go.

59

00:04:02,829 --> 00:04:04,480

- I'm trying to be nice.

- You trying to be nice?

60

00:04:04,547 --> 00:04:06,248

I'm gonna show you nice in

one second. Don't move.

61

00:04:07,900 --> 00:04:09,201

Hello?

62

00:04:10,336 --> 00:04:13,088

Okay, yes, I...

I'll be right there.

63

00:04:14,207 --> 00:04:16,592

You are lucky.

Get inside, close that door.

64

00:04:16,659 --> 00:04:17,676

Beat it. Now.

65

00:04:21,514 --> 00:04:23,298

I am very sorry.

66

00:04:23,383 --> 00:04:25,802

I know we're supposed to go

trick-or-treating, but Daddy

67

00:04:25,827 --> 00:04:27,433

just got called to work.

Okay? So I got to go, and

68

00:04:27,434 --> 00:04:30,603

- I got to take you back...

- I'll get my stuff!

69

00:04:31,941 --> 00:04:33,992

I can tell you are

just crushed...

70

00:04:34,060 --> 00:04:37,980

shattered at

the change of plans.

71

00:04:38,902 --> 00:04:41,153

Really bummed, I can see.

72

00:04:53,283 --> 00:04:55,167

Hey, I'm sorry to interrupt

trick-or-treating.

73

00:04:55,252 --> 00:04:57,053

No, it's fine.

Grace was thrilled.

74

00:04:57,120 --> 00:04:58,271

She hates that hotel.

75

00:04:58,338 --> 00:05:00,006

I have got to find

an apartment.

76

00:05:00,090 --> 00:05:01,641

Well, you've found

ten apartments, Danny--

77

00:05:01,725 --> 00:05:02,842

none are good enough.

78

00:05:02,926 --> 00:05:05,011

It's called taste

and standards, buddy.

79

00:05:05,095 --> 00:05:06,312

Go home!

80

00:05:06,396 --> 00:05:07,813

I'd like to.

Thank you.

81

00:05:07,898 --> 00:05:09,815

You're forbidden

to be here.

82

00:05:09,900 --> 00:05:12,818

Just like New Jersey.

Sleep it off, buddy, huh?

83

00:05:12,903 --> 00:05:14,153

Hey, guys.

84

00:05:14,237 --> 00:05:17,123

So, we think there are two

vics buried up the trail--

85

00:05:17,190 --> 00:05:19,808

Christian O'Connor

and Kat Forester.

86

00:05:19,860 --> 00:05:22,828

Two amateur documentarians who

were trying to film the Night Marchers.

87

00:05:22,913 --> 00:05:24,580

What are the

Night Marchers?

88

00:05:24,647 --> 00:05:26,916

- Hawaiian ghost warriors.

- Yeah.

89

00:05:26,983 --> 00:05:29,302

Oh, so good,

so we have our suspects.

90

00:05:29,369 --> 00:05:30,870

- You know what?

- Hey, don't laugh.

91

00:05:30,937 --> 00:05:32,238

My grandfather

saw them once.

92

00:05:32,306 --> 00:05:33,506

Saw the...?

93

00:05:33,573 --> 00:05:34,490

Yeah.

94

00:05:34,541 --> 00:05:35,824

- Hey, Kono.

- Yeah?

95

00:05:35,825 --> 00:05:38,174

- Who found the bodies?

- Roommate. Over there.

96

00:05:38,211 --> 00:05:40,579

She, uh, was supposed to meet

them but she was running late,

97

00:05:40,647 --> 00:05:42,498

and by the time

she got up there,

98

00:05:42,549 --> 00:05:43,933

they were already

dead and buried.

99

00:05:44,000 --> 00:05:45,885

And technically, she

didn't find the bodies,

100

00:05:45,969 --> 00:05:49,055

so much as a hand sticking out

of a shallow grave. Spooky.

101

00:05:49,139 --> 00:05:49,895

Where's Weston?

102

00:05:49,920 --> 00:05:51,342

Oh, she was, uh,

she had to change

103

00:05:51,692 --> 00:05:53,008

into something

more appropriate.

104

00:05:53,060 --> 00:05:54,560

Meaning she

was wearing

105

00:05:54,644 --> 00:05:55,945

something inappropriate?

106

00:05:56,012 --> 00:05:59,014

No, no, no, uh,

that's not what I said.

107

00:05:59,066 --> 00:06:01,200

That's kind of

what you said.

108

00:06:01,284 --> 00:06:02,902

Oh, she was wearing a costume?

109

00:06:02,986 --> 00:06:04,236

Please don't tell

her I told you.

110

00:06:04,304 --> 00:06:05,521

You didn't tell me;

I guessed.

111

00:06:05,572 --> 00:06:06,706

Yeah.

112

00:06:06,790 --> 00:06:08,023

Hi.

Right.

113

00:06:08,075 --> 00:06:10,076

Okay, let's

get started.

114

00:06:15,165 --> 00:06:16,465

Oh, you told them.

115

00:06:16,533 --> 00:06:17,833

They guessed.

116

00:06:17,884 --> 00:06:19,218

Okay.

117

00:06:19,302 --> 00:06:20,586

Oh, this is fascinating.

118

00:06:20,670 --> 00:06:23,139

I was at a Halloween

party with...

119

00:06:23,206 --> 00:06:24,757

What's so fascinating?

120

00:06:24,841 --> 00:06:25,975

The party isn't fascinating--

what's fascinating

121

00:06:26,042 --> 00:06:28,043

is that you're not willing

to tell us about it.

122

00:06:28,095 --> 00:06:30,363

You're kind of being all secretive--

isn't that kind of weird?

123

00:06:30,430 --> 00:06:31,931

Weird? Really?

124

00:06:32,015 --> 00:06:34,316

I'm not secretive. No,

it's just my private life.

125

00:06:34,384 --> 00:06:35,234

And I can have a private life.

Yeah.

126

00:06:35,318 --> 00:06:36,718

Like you all have.

127

00:06:36,770 --> 00:06:37,770

Why are you staring at me?

128

00:06:37,854 --> 00:06:40,189

I... Because

I am just imagining,

129

00:06:40,240 --> 00:06:44,243

uh, who Lori Weston's

alter ego might be.

130

00:06:44,327 --> 00:06:45,478

Uh...

131

00:06:45,545 --> 00:06:47,413

mm, Wonder Woman?

132

00:06:47,497 --> 00:06:48,547

No.

133

00:06:50,217 --> 00:06:51,817

Slutty Wonder Woman?

134

00:06:51,885 --> 00:06:53,902

Stop it, Danno.

135

00:07:02,245 --> 00:07:05,181

Chin, what have you got?

136

00:07:05,248 --> 00:07:06,766

A search of the

surrounding area

137

00:07:06,850 --> 00:07:08,300

hasn't turned up

anything yet.

138

00:07:09,886 --> 00:07:12,304

Hm. Okay, I don't want

to state the obvious,

139

00:07:12,389 --> 00:07:14,590

but I just think that

maybe we'll do better

140

00:07:14,641 --> 00:07:15,582

if we look where the hand is.

141

00:07:15,607 --> 00:07:17,238

Yeah, but we have

to wait for the priest.

142

00:07:17,861 --> 00:07:19,779

- Why?

- 'Cause this is a heiau.

143

00:07:19,863 --> 00:07:22,314

An ancient Hawaiian temple.

We have to wait for the Kahu

144

00:07:22,399 --> 00:07:25,201

to bless us and ask for the spirits'

permission before we can enter.

145

00:07:25,268 --> 00:07:26,869

Oh.

146

00:07:26,936 --> 00:07:29,183

Okay, well, I just,

let me just get this

147

00:07:29,184 --> 00:07:30,739

straight so I understand.

148

00:07:30,740 --> 00:07:32,992

There's a crime scene

right there.

149

00:07:33,076 --> 00:07:34,410

All right, and forensic

evidence is degrading

150

00:07:34,461 --> 00:07:35,995

as we speak, but

we are gonna wait

151

00:07:36,079 --> 00:07:37,580

for a priest to tell us...

152

00:07:37,631 --> 00:07:40,449

that the magic ghost says it's

okay for us to check it out.

153

00:07:40,500 --> 00:07:43,169

Mm-hmm. It's their culture, Danny--

you just have to respect it.

154

00:07:43,253 --> 00:07:45,221

Oh, that's a-a beautiful

thought, Wonder Woman,

155

00:07:45,288 --> 00:07:47,640

but I think the spirits

will make an exception

156

00:07:47,724 --> 00:07:49,458

so that we can catch

a murderer, no?

157

00:07:49,509 --> 00:07:51,627

Really?

Gloves are going on?

158

00:07:51,678 --> 00:07:53,312

You're making a mistake.

159

00:07:53,396 --> 00:07:55,147

Well, I think

I'll take my chances.

160

00:07:55,232 --> 00:07:56,565

They're gonna be here soon.

161

00:07:56,633 --> 00:07:58,234

I got it, all right?

162

00:08:07,244 --> 00:08:09,161

A woven leather bracelet...

163

00:08:09,279 --> 00:08:11,363

The roommate identified

as the male victim's.

164

00:08:11,448 --> 00:08:14,283

A lot of footprints.

165

00:08:17,320 --> 00:08:19,421

Ah. Everybody...

166

00:08:19,489 --> 00:08:23,042

I have found an ancient

Hawaiian artifact.

167

00:08:24,878 --> 00:08:26,712

Look at that.

168

00:08:26,796 --> 00:08:27,997

Huh?

169

00:08:28,064 --> 00:08:30,549

Maybe they got a picture

of their killer.

170

00:08:30,634 --> 00:08:34,637

Uh, evil spirits, they gonna

come and curse me now, or what?

171

00:08:39,276 --> 00:08:41,110

Do not.

172

00:08:42,512 --> 00:08:44,697

You should've waited

for the priest, buddy.

173

00:08:46,650 --> 00:08:48,367

Shut up.

174

00:08:56,076 --> 00:08:58,127

Well, because it says

utilities included, okay?

175

00:08:58,194 --> 00:08:59,378

And everybody knows

176

00:08:59,462 --> 00:09:01,029

that satellite television

is a utility.

177

00:09:01,081 --> 00:09:02,414

No?

178

00:09:02,499 --> 00:09:05,251

Well, a good day to you, sir.

179

00:09:05,335 --> 00:09:09,305

You're out of

your mind, Danny.

180

00:09:09,372 --> 00:09:12,474

Listen, I-I've lived in

squalor for way too long.

181

00:09:12,542 --> 00:09:13,926

Okay? I'm gonna get what I want,

182

00:09:14,010 --> 00:09:15,594

I'm gonna get want

at a reasonable price,

183

00:09:15,679 --> 00:09:17,546

and I'm not gonna pay

any moving fees, okay?

184

00:09:17,597 --> 00:09:18,814

That does not make me crazy.

185

00:09:18,881 --> 00:09:21,100

No, what makes you crazy

is thinking it's okay

186

00:09:21,184 --> 00:09:22,936

to trample all over

a sacred burial ground.

187

00:09:22,961 --> 00:09:24,153

Oh, here we go.

188

00:09:24,154 --> 00:09:25,437

- Here we go.

- Here we go?

189

00:09:25,522 --> 00:09:27,940

I am an insensitive jerk.

I didn't say a jerk,

190

00:09:28,024 --> 00:09:29,391

but "insensitive" is

accurate, yeah, Danny.

191

00:09:29,442 --> 00:09:32,027

It was a murder scene, Steven.

192

00:09:32,078 --> 00:09:33,445

Yeah, you know what?

193

00:09:33,513 --> 00:09:36,231

You cannot treat people's

beliefs like a joke.

194

00:09:36,283 --> 00:09:38,050

Danny, a heiau is an

incredibly important part

195

00:09:38,075 --> 00:09:39,275

of Hawaiian culture.

196

00:09:39,619 --> 00:09:42,254

Okay, and investigating a crime

scene is very important to my job.

197

00:09:42,339 --> 00:09:44,673

Right, and if you want

HPD to cooperate with us,

198

00:09:44,741 --> 00:09:46,926

you can't disrespect

their religion, man.

199

00:09:47,010 --> 00:09:49,261

How would you feel if

somebody desecrated a church.

200

00:09:49,346 --> 00:09:51,263

I personally would care,

I would care, okay?

201

00:09:51,348 --> 00:09:53,165

But that's a good question,

because guess what?

202

00:09:53,233 --> 00:09:54,433

It's not the same thing.

203

00:09:54,517 --> 00:09:56,468

It's exactly the same thing.

204

00:09:56,553 --> 00:09:59,438

But you don't believe in any of

that anyway, right? You don't...

205

00:09:59,522 --> 00:10:00,922

Could we please not have

this conversation?

206

00:10:00,974 --> 00:10:01,941

Because generally,

this conversation

207

00:10:02,025 --> 00:10:03,108

doesn't go very well.

208

00:10:03,193 --> 00:10:03,976

- Good.

- 'Kay?

209

00:10:04,060 --> 00:10:05,611

In history, it doesn't go well.

210

00:10:05,695 --> 00:10:07,479

Okay, fine.

211

00:10:08,865 --> 00:10:11,933

Good. I mean, no afterlife,

no higher power.

212

00:10:11,985 --> 00:10:13,569

- No nothing.

- Okay, okay, okay.

213

00:10:13,620 --> 00:10:15,487

I think that people

make stuff up

214

00:10:15,572 --> 00:10:17,740

to make themselves feel better.

How's that?

215

00:10:20,794 --> 00:10:22,044

Wow.

216

00:10:22,111 --> 00:10:23,329

Don't "wow" me.

217

00:10:23,396 --> 00:10:25,214

I'm... no, I mean it's just...

218

00:10:25,281 --> 00:10:26,665

Wow.

219

00:10:26,750 --> 00:10:29,635

Okay, listen, okay, I believe

what I see in front of my face,

220

00:10:29,719 --> 00:10:31,453

and sometimes,

I don't even believe that, okay,

221

00:10:31,504 --> 00:10:33,222

but if it makes you feel

any better,

222

00:10:33,289 --> 00:10:36,058

next time, I will pretend, okay?

223

00:10:37,577 --> 00:10:38,844

Wow.

224

00:10:38,928 --> 00:10:41,180

Don't "wow" me!

225

00:10:43,132 --> 00:10:45,050

Chin,

226

00:10:45,118 --> 00:10:46,485

anything?

227

00:10:46,553 --> 00:10:48,754

Well, the camera was recording

when the murders took place,

228

00:10:48,822 --> 00:10:50,806

but it looks like

our killer was camera shy.

229

00:10:50,857 --> 00:10:52,191

Not a single shot of him.

230

00:10:52,275 --> 00:10:53,575

But we did find

something interesting.

231

00:10:53,643 --> 00:10:54,727

Look at this.

232

00:10:56,279 --> 00:10:59,698

...it's worth the risk.

233

00:10:59,783 --> 00:11:02,201

What is this?

234

00:11:04,871 --> 00:11:06,505

Hey, maybe, uh...

235

00:11:06,589 --> 00:11:07,873

Hey, maybe you shouldn't, uh...

236

00:11:12,262 --> 00:11:13,379

That bag...

237

00:11:13,463 --> 00:11:14,830

wasn't at the scene.

238

00:11:16,833 --> 00:11:19,668

Christian!

239

00:11:22,822 --> 00:11:24,990

Yeah, I wonder what the hell

was in that bag?

240

00:11:25,058 --> 00:11:27,026

There's a lot of ancient

skeletal remains up there.

241

00:11:27,110 --> 00:11:28,777

Wait a minute.

You think grave robbers?

242

00:11:28,845 --> 00:11:31,280

Could be. Some unscrupulous

collectors would pay a lot

243

00:11:31,347 --> 00:11:33,532

for the artifacts

up there.

244

00:11:33,616 --> 00:11:36,201

Okay, so,

these two kids surprise him,

245

00:11:36,286 --> 00:11:39,238

and he kills them 'cause

he wants to keep his secret.

246

00:11:39,322 --> 00:11:40,572

Maybe.

247

00:11:40,657 --> 00:11:42,074

There could be something

in this section.

248

00:11:42,158 --> 00:11:44,410

Something the camera picked up

that we can't see right now.

249

00:11:44,494 --> 00:11:46,128

Kono, have Fong

dig through this,

250

00:11:46,195 --> 00:11:47,195

see what he can come up with.

251

00:11:47,247 --> 00:11:48,714

Danny and I are gonna go

and talk to Max.

252

00:11:48,798 --> 00:11:52,251

The female vic died of blunt

force trauma to the head,

253

00:11:52,318 --> 00:11:55,754

mostly likely killed by

the very shovel that buried her.

254

00:11:55,822 --> 00:11:58,590

The male victim had dirt

and debris in his lungs.

255

00:11:58,675 --> 00:12:01,009

Unfortunately,

he was buried alive.

256

00:12:01,061 --> 00:12:03,762

You know, uh, Keanu,

Halloween was yesterday.

257

00:12:03,847 --> 00:12:05,097

You're aware

of that, right?

258

00:12:05,181 --> 00:12:06,565

- What?

- Hmm?

259

00:12:06,633 --> 00:12:09,485

Oh. Yes, I came directly

to work after a costume party.

260

00:12:09,552 --> 00:12:11,653

Ah, you don't secretly

have this thing

261

00:12:11,721 --> 00:12:14,273

where you love dressing up

like you're in The Matrix?

262

00:12:14,357 --> 00:12:16,108

The two concepts are not

mutually exclusive.

263

00:12:16,176 --> 00:12:19,227

All right, Max, what do we,

uh... what do we got here?

264

00:12:19,279 --> 00:12:22,364

Well, I have some good news

and... weird news.

265

00:12:22,415 --> 00:12:24,333

Take a look at this.

266

00:12:24,400 --> 00:12:27,669

See the marks under her right

eye-- fingerprint bruising.

267

00:12:27,737 --> 00:12:29,455

Okay, he grabbed her face.

268

00:12:29,539 --> 00:12:33,008

Exactly, and when he did that,

he very kindly left a print.

269

00:12:33,075 --> 00:12:35,961

A nice one on the right lens.

270

00:12:36,045 --> 00:12:37,513

I ran it through the system,

271

00:12:37,580 --> 00:12:38,797

and found a match.

272

00:12:38,882 --> 00:12:41,082

Man by the name

of Greg Straithan.

273

00:12:41,134 --> 00:12:42,751

- Oh.

- Nice work, Max.

274

00:12:42,802 --> 00:12:44,103

I'm impressed.

275

00:12:44,187 --> 00:12:45,587

And now the weird news.

276

00:12:45,638 --> 00:12:47,973

Our suspect, Greg Straithan...

277

00:12:48,057 --> 00:12:50,058

is dead.

278

00:12:57,400 --> 00:12:59,784

Greg Straithan--

279

00:12:59,852 --> 00:13:00,986

nice long sheet.

280

00:13:01,037 --> 00:13:03,405

Burglary two,

criminal trespass, did

281

00:13:03,489 --> 00:13:05,991

three years at Chino in

California for assault.

282

00:13:06,042 --> 00:13:07,876

Looks good for

our suspect.

283

00:13:07,960 --> 00:13:10,194

Except for the part where

he's not actually alive.

284

00:13:10,246 --> 00:13:11,379

How did he die?

285

00:13:11,464 --> 00:13:12,881

Shot and killed

in his apartment last week.

286

00:13:12,965 --> 00:13:15,283

His girlfriend, Nikki Royce,

admitted to it.

287

00:13:15,351 --> 00:13:17,135

She's got a history of mental

illness. They've got her

288

00:13:17,202 --> 00:13:18,420

on a psych hold

at Okalani hospital.

289

00:13:18,504 --> 00:13:21,423

Okay, this says she

shot him in the face.

290

00:13:21,507 --> 00:13:22,974

Yeah, with a shotgun.

291

00:13:23,042 --> 00:13:24,976

Okay, so, no dental records.

292

00:13:25,044 --> 00:13:26,978

Right? No face to identify him.

293

00:13:27,046 --> 00:13:29,047

With the girlfriend's

confession,

294

00:13:29,098 --> 00:13:30,765

I'm pretty sure they didn't

295

00:13:30,850 --> 00:13:32,100

print the body.

296

00:13:32,184 --> 00:13:33,818

- What are you getting at?

- It just seems

297

00:13:33,886 --> 00:13:35,070

like a really good way

to fake your own death.

298

00:13:35,137 --> 00:13:36,054

That is, unless

you think

299

00:13:36,105 --> 00:13:37,221

a dead person

300

00:13:37,273 --> 00:13:38,773

slapped our victim

in the face.

301

00:13:38,858 --> 00:13:39,941

Okay, if that's the case,

302

00:13:40,026 --> 00:13:41,392

the girlfriend

was definitely in on it,

303

00:13:41,444 --> 00:13:42,777

right, so let's go talk to her.

304

00:13:42,862 --> 00:13:44,079

Lori, I could use

your profiling skills

305

00:13:44,163 --> 00:13:45,246

to determine if she's crazy,

306

00:13:45,331 --> 00:13:46,531

or just acting crazy.

All right.

307

00:13:46,582 --> 00:13:47,999

You know, there's a big question

308

00:13:48,067 --> 00:13:49,250

that we haven't asked yet.

309

00:13:49,335 --> 00:13:50,752

Somebody got shot

at Straithan's apartment.

310

00:13:50,836 --> 00:13:52,287

So, if not him, then who?

311

00:13:52,371 --> 00:13:54,339

Whoever it is, he's buried

in Straithan's grave.

312

00:13:54,406 --> 00:13:56,091

I'll get the paperwork started

for an exhumation.

313

00:13:56,175 --> 00:13:58,176

Okay, in the meantime,

if Straithan is alive,

314

00:13:58,243 --> 00:14:00,295

and he's been walking

around all week,

315

00:14:00,379 --> 00:14:02,464

maybe our victims had

some prior interactions.

316

00:14:02,531 --> 00:14:05,016

So, Kono, see if the roommate

recognizes him, okay?

317

00:14:05,084 --> 00:14:09,187

I've never seen him.

Sorry.

318

00:14:10,606 --> 00:14:11,639

Do you think

319

00:14:11,724 --> 00:14:13,358

he did it?

320

00:14:13,425 --> 00:14:15,393

He's, uh, someone

we're looking into.

321

00:14:18,030 --> 00:14:19,814

How are you handling all this?

322

00:14:19,899 --> 00:14:22,150

Oh, you know.

323

00:14:22,234 --> 00:14:24,069

Not great.

324

00:14:24,120 --> 00:14:27,989

The worst part is, I lost both

my roommates, and I'm all alone.

325

00:14:29,241 --> 00:14:31,326

I've never lived

by myself before.

326

00:14:32,712 --> 00:14:36,131

Yeah. So your-your friends--

they, uh...

327

00:14:36,215 --> 00:14:39,283

they never told you

about anyone threatening them

328

00:14:39,335 --> 00:14:41,086

or scaring them

this past week?

329

00:14:41,137 --> 00:14:43,788

Well, there was that one

weird guy up at the heiau.

330

00:14:43,839 --> 00:14:45,140

What weird guy?

331

00:14:45,224 --> 00:14:47,475

Somebody was bothering them

a few nights ago.

332

00:14:47,560 --> 00:14:49,060

Christian tried to

make him go away,

333

00:14:49,128 --> 00:14:51,146

and I guess he fell and

hit his head on a rock.

334

00:14:51,230 --> 00:14:53,932

Kat said he was

bleeding really bad.

335

00:15:05,477 --> 00:15:07,112

Hey.

336

00:15:07,163 --> 00:15:08,329

Hey.

337

00:15:08,414 --> 00:15:09,514

- Anything?

- Not yet.

338

00:15:09,582 --> 00:15:11,166

I was hoping since

it hadn't rained

339

00:15:11,250 --> 00:15:12,751

the past few days,

we'd get lucky.

340

00:15:12,818 --> 00:15:14,836

Did you get the warrant yet

to exhume Straithan's grave?

341

00:15:14,920 --> 00:15:16,671

No, I'm still working on it.

342

00:15:16,756 --> 00:15:19,874

If you find his blood up here,

it'll help convince the judge

343

00:15:19,959 --> 00:15:22,493

he's among the living.

Yeah.

344

00:15:22,545 --> 00:15:23,928

Mahalo, Kahu.

345

00:15:23,996 --> 00:15:25,180

No problem, sistah.

346

00:15:25,264 --> 00:15:27,265

The kupuna like you.

347

00:15:32,555 --> 00:15:33,555

You hitting

Pops later?

348

00:15:33,639 --> 00:15:35,607

- Yeah.

- Waves should be firing.

349

00:15:35,674 --> 00:15:37,142

See you there.

All right.

350

00:15:37,209 --> 00:15:39,561

Kono, check this out.

351

00:15:39,645 --> 00:15:40,779

That's blood.

352

00:15:40,846 --> 00:15:42,230

Roommate was right.

353

00:15:42,314 --> 00:15:44,783

Looks like someone

took a nasty fall.

354

00:15:57,746 --> 00:16:00,165

This isn't the first time

355

00:16:00,216 --> 00:16:02,383

Nikki Royce has been

committed for mental issues.

356

00:16:02,468 --> 00:16:03,968

As a teenager, she

was hospitalized

357

00:16:04,036 --> 00:16:05,220

with an eating

disorder.

358

00:16:05,287 --> 00:16:06,471

All right.

359

00:16:07,807 --> 00:16:09,257

So, the, uh...

the Halloween party

360

00:16:09,341 --> 00:16:11,309

you went to--

who threw it?

361

00:16:11,376 --> 00:16:12,660

Oh, just a friend.

362

00:16:12,728 --> 00:16:14,095

Ah.

363

00:16:14,163 --> 00:16:15,897

Go by yourself?

364

00:16:15,981 --> 00:16:17,649

This is it.

365

00:16:17,716 --> 00:16:19,550

Don't let her get

too close to you.

366

00:16:19,602 --> 00:16:21,436

She is a scratcher.

367

00:16:23,889 --> 00:16:28,126

Listen, I said I am not going

back into the chicken anymore.

368

00:16:28,194 --> 00:16:29,277

You can't make me.

369

00:16:29,361 --> 00:16:30,411

The chicken?

370

00:16:30,496 --> 00:16:32,163

Kitchen. Kitchen!

371

00:16:32,231 --> 00:16:33,248

There are...

There are bugs.

372

00:16:33,332 --> 00:16:34,398

There are bugs.

373

00:16:36,568 --> 00:16:38,586

Listen, I told them...

I told them, and...

374

00:16:38,671 --> 00:16:41,239

So, Nikki, we need to

talk to you about Greg.

375

00:16:41,290 --> 00:16:42,590

Okay?

376

00:16:42,675 --> 00:16:44,676

Look. The lights.

377

00:16:44,743 --> 00:16:46,511

There's something

in the lights.

378

00:16:46,578 --> 00:16:49,247

It stabs you.

379

00:16:49,298 --> 00:16:51,015

- Nikki, talk to us about Greg.

- No.

380

00:16:51,083 --> 00:16:52,634

No, I can't. No, no.

381

00:16:52,718 --> 00:16:54,302

No, I can't.

382

00:16:54,386 --> 00:16:56,521

- I can't.

- We know he's alive.

383

00:16:57,973 --> 00:17:00,141

You guys

384

00:17:00,226 --> 00:17:01,309

faked his death.

385

00:17:01,393 --> 00:17:03,361

You pretend to be crazy.

386

00:17:03,428 --> 00:17:05,429

And take the chance the hospital

will discharge you

387

00:17:05,481 --> 00:17:07,115

in a couple of years, right?

388

00:17:12,121 --> 00:17:13,655

Oh, thank God.

389

00:17:13,739 --> 00:17:15,540

Thank you.

390

00:17:15,607 --> 00:17:17,542

Thank you

so much.

391

00:17:17,609 --> 00:17:19,944

Okay, no one will believe me.

392

00:17:19,995 --> 00:17:22,080

All right, well,

where is he?

393

00:17:23,782 --> 00:17:27,168

He comes at night

and talks to me.

394

00:17:28,220 --> 00:17:30,054

Ah.

395

00:17:30,122 --> 00:17:32,390

You've got

to tell them.

396

00:17:32,457 --> 00:17:33,558

They won't believe me.

397

00:17:33,625 --> 00:17:35,793

Hmm.

398

00:17:35,844 --> 00:17:37,845

- I shot him!

- Who did you shoot,

399

00:17:37,930 --> 00:17:38,963

Nikki? Who'd you kill?

400

00:17:39,014 --> 00:17:41,516

Greg.

401

00:17:41,600 --> 00:17:43,601

Then he came back.

402

00:17:44,653 --> 00:17:47,021

He's haunting me.

403

00:17:47,106 --> 00:17:49,807

Can you help

me, please?

404

00:17:49,858 --> 00:17:53,077

I just want him to go away

so I can get some sleep.

405

00:17:53,145 --> 00:17:55,330

Please?

Yeah.

406

00:17:55,414 --> 00:17:57,315

Okay, so,

407

00:17:57,366 --> 00:17:59,483

your professional assessment--

is she just a great liar?

408

00:17:59,535 --> 00:18:02,153

In the course of five minutes,

we witnessed aphasia,

409

00:18:02,204 --> 00:18:05,089

dermatillomania, paranoia,

vivid hallucinations.

410

00:18:05,157 --> 00:18:07,325

My professional assessment--

that girl's off her rocker.

411

00:18:07,376 --> 00:18:09,510

Yeah, a little bit,

but is she telling the truth?

412

00:18:09,595 --> 00:18:10,929

Did she shoot Straithan?

413

00:18:10,996 --> 00:18:12,830

Well, she thinks she did,

but there's no way to tell

414

00:18:12,881 --> 00:18:14,465

if she shot him

or somebody else.

415

00:18:14,516 --> 00:18:16,050

All right, listen,

get Danny on the phone,

416

00:18:16,135 --> 00:18:17,468

have him meet you

at Straithan's apartment.

417

00:18:17,519 --> 00:18:18,886

And maybe forensics

can tell us who

418

00:18:18,971 --> 00:18:20,271

she actually

killed.

419

00:18:21,890 --> 00:18:23,841

The apartment was available

420

00:18:23,892 --> 00:18:25,476

15 minutes ago,

and now it's rented?

421

00:18:25,527 --> 00:18:26,644

Doesn't make any sense.

422

00:18:26,712 --> 00:18:28,112

What, you trying

to shake me down?

423

00:18:28,180 --> 00:18:29,864

Well, I'm a cop.

How about that?

424

00:18:29,949 --> 00:18:31,532

Hello?

425

00:18:31,617 --> 00:18:32,951

Hello?!

426

00:18:33,018 --> 00:18:34,402

If you're looking

for an apartment,

427

00:18:34,486 --> 00:18:36,955

I think there's one available

in this building.

428

00:18:37,022 --> 00:18:39,907

Oh, uh, yeah,

that's-that's nice, but I think

429

00:18:39,992 --> 00:18:41,409

it's a little rich

for my blood. Thank you.

430

00:18:41,493 --> 00:18:43,594

You'll have to

take the stairs.

431

00:18:43,662 --> 00:18:46,080

Something is wrong

with the elevator.

432

00:18:46,165 --> 00:18:48,049

Of course something's wrong

wi the elevator.

433

00:18:48,133 --> 00:18:49,217

I'm cursed.

434

00:18:49,285 --> 00:18:50,668

- Oh.

- Hey.

435

00:18:50,719 --> 00:18:53,137

So, what do we got?

436

00:18:53,205 --> 00:18:55,423

Well, plenty of blood

to test, as you can see.

437

00:18:55,507 --> 00:18:56,591

Luckily,

the crime scene cleaners

438

00:18:56,659 --> 00:18:58,393

are backed up.

We'll compare

439

00:18:58,477 --> 00:19:00,595

the DNA from the blood splatter

to the DNA from his hair.

440

00:19:00,679 --> 00:19:02,563

If they match each other,

Greg Straithan's dead.

441

00:19:02,648 --> 00:19:04,232

If not, he's most likely

our killer.

442

00:19:04,316 --> 00:19:06,100

His landlord was just telling me

about Straithan's habits.

443

00:19:06,185 --> 00:19:07,718

- How are you?

- Good.

444

00:19:07,770 --> 00:19:08,886

This a two-bedroom?

445

00:19:08,937 --> 00:19:10,905

Yeah.

446

00:19:10,973 --> 00:19:13,741

Uh, Straithan-- did he, uh...

he seem like the kind of guy

447

00:19:13,826 --> 00:19:15,159

that would fake his own death?

448

00:19:15,227 --> 00:19:16,277

Well, he certainly

was secretive.

449

00:19:16,362 --> 00:19:18,246

I was never sure what

he did for a living.

450

00:19:18,330 --> 00:19:19,914

Always paid for

everything with cash.

451

00:19:19,999 --> 00:19:22,050

Huh. This is nice, this carpet.

452

00:19:22,117 --> 00:19:23,584

This rug here--

what is this?

453

00:19:23,669 --> 00:19:26,120

- This Berber?

- Yeah.

454

00:19:26,205 --> 00:19:29,090

Huh. Thought so.

455

00:19:29,174 --> 00:19:31,459

Um, did he ever seem

like he was afraid?

456

00:19:31,527 --> 00:19:32,994

Maybe he was hiding

from somebody?

457

00:19:33,062 --> 00:19:35,713

Oh, I don't think so. He was

a pretty intimidating person.

458

00:19:35,764 --> 00:19:38,099

This is very nice.

Italian marble.

459

00:19:38,167 --> 00:19:41,269

You know, uh, by law,

you know, you're gonna have

460

00:19:41,337 --> 00:19:43,638

to disclose that there

was a murder here.

461

00:19:43,722 --> 00:19:45,589

You'll probably have

to cut the rent in half.

462

00:19:45,641 --> 00:19:46,808

You think?

463

00:19:46,892 --> 00:19:48,860

Yeah, at least.

I mean, most people-- they won't

464

00:19:48,927 --> 00:19:51,245

even rent a place where

there's been a violent crime.

465

00:19:51,313 --> 00:19:52,947

Bad mojo, stuff like that.

466

00:19:53,015 --> 00:19:56,367

Me, personally-- I don't mind

a little bit of blood.

467

00:19:56,435 --> 00:19:59,537

Okay, Chin just got the warrant

to dig up Straithan's grave.

468

00:20:01,407 --> 00:20:02,940

All I can tell you is,

469

00:20:02,991 --> 00:20:05,910

the last time I saw that casket,

he was in there.

470

00:20:05,978 --> 00:20:07,128

All right,

471

00:20:07,212 --> 00:20:09,664

but are you certain

it was Greg Straithan's body?

472

00:20:09,748 --> 00:20:11,299

I only know

what I was told.

473

00:20:11,383 --> 00:20:14,502

I'm not gonna get in trouble

for this, am I?

474

00:20:14,586 --> 00:20:16,204

You're manipulating

a landlord into renting you

475

00:20:16,271 --> 00:20:18,139

a dead guy's

apartment at a cut rate.

476

00:20:18,207 --> 00:20:19,607

- Is that right?

- Absolutely.

477

00:20:19,675 --> 00:20:20,975

That's interesting.

478

00:20:21,043 --> 00:20:22,410

It's the move, babe.

479

00:20:22,478 --> 00:20:23,845

I mean, all the

homicide detectives

480

00:20:23,912 --> 00:20:25,229

back home have

the nicest pads.

481

00:20:25,297 --> 00:20:27,014

- I'm telling you.

- Huh.

482

00:20:31,520 --> 00:20:33,354

Let me just go on record

by saying

483

00:20:33,439 --> 00:20:36,157

I think it's wrong to disturb

someone's final resting place.

484

00:20:36,241 --> 00:20:37,942

Okay. Noted on record.

485

00:20:37,993 --> 00:20:39,360

Now crack it open.

486

00:20:49,621 --> 00:20:51,005

Okay. Wait a minute.

487

00:20:51,090 --> 00:20:52,540

This gravesite

was undisturbed?

488

00:20:54,493 --> 00:20:57,095

Is there any sign anybody

could have messed with this?

489

00:20:57,162 --> 00:20:59,046

No, not a thing.

490

00:21:01,433 --> 00:21:04,018

Then I am completely at a loss

as to how to explain this.

491

00:21:11,291 --> 00:21:12,708

Well, I have

492

00:21:12,709 --> 00:21:14,126

either good news

or bad news,

493

00:21:14,194 --> 00:21:15,695

depending on where

you stand.

494

00:21:15,762 --> 00:21:17,863

Your dead suspect

is, in fact, dead.

495

00:21:17,931 --> 00:21:19,165

Well, what'd you find?

496

00:21:19,232 --> 00:21:20,332

Well, the two

DNA samples

497

00:21:20,400 --> 00:21:21,600

from Greg Straithan's

apartment--

498

00:21:21,668 --> 00:21:23,202

the blood from

the murder scene

499

00:21:23,270 --> 00:21:25,104

and his hair from

his brush-- they matched.

500

00:21:25,172 --> 00:21:27,740

Okay, so unless Straithan

reanimated as a zombie,

501

00:21:27,808 --> 00:21:29,508

he is definitely

and simply dead.

502

00:21:29,576 --> 00:21:32,995

Well, considering

his head wasn't intact,

503

00:21:33,062 --> 00:21:36,415

reanimating as a zombie

would be completely impossible.

504

00:21:36,500 --> 00:21:37,583

Right.

505

00:21:37,667 --> 00:21:39,251

Now, for the curveball.

506

00:21:39,336 --> 00:21:41,370

The blood that Kono found

at the heiau--

507

00:21:41,421 --> 00:21:43,789

well, it belonged

to an unknown subject.

508

00:21:43,874 --> 00:21:45,124

Didn't match Straithan,

509

00:21:45,208 --> 00:21:47,126

the victims

or anybody in the system.

510

00:21:47,210 --> 00:21:49,261

Okay, well, chances are that

blood belongs to our killer.

511

00:21:49,346 --> 00:21:51,514

Hey. It's Kono.

512

00:21:51,581 --> 00:21:53,682

Fong found something

on the camcorder.

513

00:21:53,750 --> 00:21:55,351

She's on her way

to see him now.

514

00:21:55,418 --> 00:21:56,752

I started by isolating

the footage

515

00:21:56,803 --> 00:21:58,521

from the point

the camera goes airborne.

516

00:21:58,588 --> 00:22:00,973

Took some doing, but

after demultiplexing

517

00:22:01,057 --> 00:22:02,358

and deinterfacing

the segment,

518

00:22:02,425 --> 00:22:03,692

I was able to enhance

519

00:22:03,760 --> 00:22:04,860

and highlight the

individual frames.

520

00:22:04,928 --> 00:22:06,312

That's the duffel bag.

521

00:22:06,396 --> 00:22:08,197

Camera went

right over it.

522

00:22:08,264 --> 00:22:10,149

Good news is...

523

00:22:10,233 --> 00:22:12,651

the bag was open.

524

00:22:13,887 --> 00:22:15,821

That look like a hand to you?

525

00:22:15,906 --> 00:22:18,273

Yeah, and I bet it belongs

to Greg Straithan.

526

00:22:18,325 --> 00:22:19,875

That would explain

527

00:22:19,943 --> 00:22:22,294

how his fingerprint

showed up on the victim.

528

00:22:22,379 --> 00:22:24,547

He wasn't at the heiau,

but his fingers were.

529

00:22:24,614 --> 00:22:26,215

So Kat gets knocked over,

530

00:22:26,282 --> 00:22:28,384

she falls face-first

into the bag,

531

00:22:28,451 --> 00:22:30,803

fingerprint transfers

onto her glasses.

532

00:22:30,887 --> 00:22:32,955

What I can't explain

is how his hand ended up

533

00:22:33,006 --> 00:22:35,057

five miles from where he

was supposed to be buried.

534

00:22:36,626 --> 00:22:38,010

It's because the killer

535

00:22:38,094 --> 00:22:39,895

wasn't stealing anything

from the heiau.

536

00:22:39,963 --> 00:22:41,096

He was hiding something.

537

00:22:41,148 --> 00:22:43,149

I bet I know where the

rest of Straithan is.

538

00:22:43,233 --> 00:22:45,584

Thanks, Fong.

539

00:22:59,416 --> 00:23:01,367

Oh, great.

There's Gabby.

540

00:23:01,451 --> 00:23:03,118

Did you know she was

going to be here?

541

00:23:03,170 --> 00:23:04,787

'Cause you should have

told me if you did.

542

00:23:04,855 --> 00:23:07,122

Did not, but, uh, that's not

going to help you, bud.

543

00:23:07,174 --> 00:23:09,258

You should just

be yourself. Be yourself.

544

00:23:09,325 --> 00:23:10,626

Hey, Gabby.

545

00:23:12,161 --> 00:23:13,262

What are you

doing here?

546

00:23:15,298 --> 00:23:19,051

Um, the Burial Council sent me

to ensure the iwi is protected.

547

00:23:19,135 --> 00:23:21,604

Right. Right. The iwi.

548

00:23:22,606 --> 00:23:23,772

That's the bones.

549

00:23:23,840 --> 00:23:25,391

- I know that.

- Protecting the cultural significance

550

00:23:25,475 --> 00:23:26,692

of this site is, uh...

551

00:23:26,776 --> 00:23:29,478

it's extremely important

to Daniel.

552

00:23:29,529 --> 00:23:31,447

Yeah.

553

00:23:31,514 --> 00:23:33,315

Don't you have someone

to, uh, go shoot?

554

00:23:33,366 --> 00:23:34,483

Nope. Nope.

555

00:23:34,534 --> 00:23:36,535

Hey, I heard you guys

had a lovely dinner.

556

00:23:36,620 --> 00:23:38,370

- Uh-huh.

- We did.

557

00:23:38,455 --> 00:23:40,623

- We... it was... it was lovely.

- It was good.

558

00:23:40,690 --> 00:23:42,458

I had a great time. Yeah.

559

00:23:42,525 --> 00:23:45,294

Hey, um, Grace really

wants to go to the museum,

560

00:23:45,361 --> 00:23:48,080

and, uh, I thought maybe I could

bug you for a private tour.

561

00:23:48,164 --> 00:23:49,882

I would love to meet Grace.

562

00:23:49,966 --> 00:23:52,084

Good. Good.

563

00:23:52,168 --> 00:23:53,252

Uh, Dr. Asano,

we're planning

564

00:23:53,336 --> 00:23:54,753

on using

ground-penetrating radar

565

00:23:54,838 --> 00:23:56,005

to locate

Straithan's remains.

566

00:23:56,056 --> 00:23:58,007

It utilizes

high-frequency EM waves

567

00:23:58,058 --> 00:23:59,425

to see beneath

the ground.

568

00:23:59,509 --> 00:24:01,143

That way, we won't have

to indiscriminately

569

00:24:01,210 --> 00:24:02,394

dig everything up.

570

00:24:02,479 --> 00:24:03,846

I'm sure the council

will be grateful

571

00:24:03,897 --> 00:24:05,180

for your efforts.

Good.

572

00:24:05,232 --> 00:24:07,099

Danny! Somebody threw

573

00:24:07,183 --> 00:24:08,484

a rock through your window.

574

00:24:08,551 --> 00:24:10,653

Yeah, I know. It happened

the night of the murders, Chin.

575

00:24:10,720 --> 00:24:12,187

Keep up, babe.

No, bruddah.

576

00:24:12,239 --> 00:24:13,606

The other one.

577

00:24:15,242 --> 00:24:16,558

How does this even happen?

578

00:24:16,610 --> 00:24:18,611

Well, maybe it's

the consequence of dismissing

579

00:24:18,695 --> 00:24:20,863

an entire culture's

spiritual beliefs.

580

00:24:20,914 --> 00:24:22,581

Oh, right, a ghost.

581

00:24:22,666 --> 00:24:24,566

A ghost busted my windows.

That really what you believe?

582

00:24:24,618 --> 00:24:25,834

Well, what

we believe,

583

00:24:25,902 --> 00:24:27,736

Danny, is that our ancestors

are here with us,

584

00:24:27,787 --> 00:24:29,872

just as much as they were

when they were alive.

585

00:24:31,007 --> 00:24:32,591

You... okay. Okay.

586

00:24:32,676 --> 00:24:34,076

Let me ask you a question.

587

00:24:34,127 --> 00:24:36,211

HPD, they secured this area,

correct?

588

00:24:36,263 --> 00:24:37,630

Correct. They closed

the access road down

589

00:24:37,714 --> 00:24:38,964

the night of the murder.

590

00:24:39,049 --> 00:24:41,350

Okay. So let's just imagine

for a moment

591

00:24:41,417 --> 00:24:43,619

that a living, breathing

human being did this to my car.

592

00:24:43,687 --> 00:24:44,887

I know it's crazy.

593

00:24:44,938 --> 00:24:46,221

Let's just imagine it.

594

00:24:46,273 --> 00:24:48,557

How is it that somebody

got here, came in,

595

00:24:48,608 --> 00:24:50,776

left, nobody said anything,

twice?

596

00:24:50,844 --> 00:24:52,361

Go ahead.

He never left.

597

00:24:53,396 --> 00:24:54,530

The homeless guy.

598

00:24:54,597 --> 00:24:56,282

That homeless guy told us

not to come in here

599

00:24:56,366 --> 00:24:57,616

the night of the murder.

It would explain

600

00:24:57,701 --> 00:24:59,234

the roommate's

story about the man

601

00:24:59,286 --> 00:25:01,036

who accosted the victims

a few nights prior.

602

00:25:01,104 --> 00:25:02,454

All right,

so what are we saying?

603

00:25:02,539 --> 00:25:03,539

Our killer lives here?

604

00:25:03,606 --> 00:25:05,157

I know where I would hide.

605

00:25:12,299 --> 00:25:14,516

You know, if I was homeless,

606

00:25:14,584 --> 00:25:16,752

living in Hawaii,

there's about 96,000 places

607

00:25:16,803 --> 00:25:18,887

I'd choose to live

before this one.

608

00:25:18,955 --> 00:25:20,806

It's private.

609

00:25:20,890 --> 00:25:23,175

Natural protection

from the elements.

610

00:25:23,259 --> 00:25:25,894

Access to the heiau.

611

00:25:30,433 --> 00:25:31,900

Okay.

612

00:25:31,968 --> 00:25:34,853

You know, it's really easy

to get lost in here.

613

00:25:34,938 --> 00:25:37,456

He probably knows

exactly where he's going.

614

00:25:40,476 --> 00:25:42,244

You just need to know

where to look.

615

00:25:43,279 --> 00:25:45,280

Well, that helps me.

616

00:25:57,644 --> 00:25:59,678

Ancient Hawaiian burials

617

00:25:59,763 --> 00:26:01,764

tend to be

no more than a meter deep.

618

00:26:01,831 --> 00:26:03,599

Okay. So anything above

619

00:26:03,666 --> 00:26:05,501

or below this marker

is most likely our guy.

620

00:26:08,054 --> 00:26:10,222

Oh, got something here.

621

00:26:10,290 --> 00:26:12,107

What is that,

about two meters down?

622

00:26:12,175 --> 00:26:14,276

Looks like we found the rest

of Greg Straithan.

623

00:26:15,495 --> 00:26:16,862

Whoa. Hold on.

There's another one

624

00:26:16,946 --> 00:26:18,230

on the other side

of the field.

625

00:26:18,298 --> 00:26:19,431

Two and a half

meters down.

626

00:26:19,499 --> 00:26:21,617

I thought there

was only one body.

627

00:26:21,684 --> 00:26:23,002

Supposed to be.

628

00:26:23,069 --> 00:26:25,120

Looks like multiple hits here.

629

00:26:25,188 --> 00:26:27,239

You have three or four

down there.

630

00:26:27,323 --> 00:26:28,991

I got something!

631

00:26:29,042 --> 00:26:31,310

Okay, I'm going to need a radio.

632

00:26:33,797 --> 00:26:35,587

Steve, we've got more

than one body down here.

633

00:26:36,633 --> 00:26:37,883

Say again.

634

00:26:37,967 --> 00:26:39,534

It's looking like dozens

all over the heiau.

635

00:26:39,586 --> 00:26:41,003

I've seen something

like this before.

636

00:26:41,054 --> 00:26:43,138

It might be the dumping

ground of a serial killer.

637

00:26:56,770 --> 00:26:57,903

I got blood.

638

00:26:57,987 --> 00:26:59,238

Lot of it.

639

00:27:00,857 --> 00:27:02,508

I got the white bag

from the video.

640

00:27:03,893 --> 00:27:05,027

And it's empty, Danny.

641

00:27:06,212 --> 00:27:08,113

All right!

Hands up.

642

00:27:08,181 --> 00:27:09,231

Put your hands

up right now.

643

00:27:09,282 --> 00:27:10,499

Drop the weapon.

644

00:27:10,566 --> 00:27:12,000

I warned you

not to come here.

645

00:27:12,068 --> 00:27:13,736

Drop the weapon right now.

646

00:27:13,803 --> 00:27:14,920

Get on your knees.

647

00:27:18,842 --> 00:27:20,242

On your knees.

648

00:27:20,293 --> 00:27:21,510

On your knees.

649

00:27:24,297 --> 00:27:25,964

Hands behind your head.

Interlock your fingers.

650

00:27:32,922 --> 00:27:35,090

You angered the spirits.

651

00:27:35,141 --> 00:27:37,526

I know.

That's what I keep hearing.

652

00:27:40,013 --> 00:27:41,447

Let's go.

653

00:27:53,999 --> 00:27:56,634

Your name is Samuel Lee.

654

00:27:56,701 --> 00:27:58,419

You're a combat veteran.

655

00:27:58,503 --> 00:28:00,137

Vietnam.

656

00:28:05,560 --> 00:28:07,811

How long you been homeless,

Samuel?

657

00:28:12,984 --> 00:28:14,551

All right.

658

00:28:16,554 --> 00:28:17,938

We're testing this bag

right now.

659

00:28:18,023 --> 00:28:19,890

It had a severed

hand in it.

660

00:28:19,941 --> 00:28:21,725

You want to tell us

661

00:28:21,776 --> 00:28:24,061

how it got in there,

help yourself out?

662

00:28:24,112 --> 00:28:26,280

No. It was empty

when I found it.

663

00:28:26,364 --> 00:28:28,565

It was contaminating

664

00:28:28,616 --> 00:28:29,667

the heiau.

665

00:28:29,734 --> 00:28:30,901

Quite a nasty gash

666

00:28:30,952 --> 00:28:32,286

you got on your forehead.

667

00:28:32,370 --> 00:28:33,754

Want to tell me

how it happened?

668

00:28:33,838 --> 00:28:34,922

Keep in mind...

669

00:28:35,006 --> 00:28:37,124

I already know the answer.

670

00:28:41,963 --> 00:28:45,849

They were trespassers.

671

00:28:47,352 --> 00:28:49,269

Too many people.

672

00:28:49,354 --> 00:28:53,256

Too many people treading

on the iwi of the tupuna.

673

00:28:53,308 --> 00:28:55,059

You attacked

these two kids.

674

00:28:55,110 --> 00:28:56,259

And they fought back,

675

00:28:56,311 --> 00:28:58,228

and you fell down,

hit your head on a rock.

676

00:28:58,279 --> 00:28:59,947

Is that what you mean?

677

00:29:00,031 --> 00:29:02,199

They were desecrating the aina.

678

00:29:02,266 --> 00:29:03,484

So you beat them to death

with a shovel?

679

00:29:03,568 --> 00:29:04,601

No!

680

00:29:04,652 --> 00:29:06,320

I warned them to stay away.

681

00:29:06,404 --> 00:29:08,205

Like I warned you.

682

00:29:09,824 --> 00:29:13,127

But they...

they wouldn't listen.

683

00:29:13,211 --> 00:29:15,612

Do you always protect the heiau?

684

00:29:15,663 --> 00:29:17,280

It wants me to protect it.

685

00:29:17,332 --> 00:29:19,416

It needs me to keep its secrets.

686

00:29:21,086 --> 00:29:23,637

Just like it keeps your

secrets, right, Samuel?

687

00:29:23,722 --> 00:29:26,140

I mean, it's the perfect place

to dump a body.

688

00:29:26,224 --> 00:29:28,792

No one would ever

dare look there.

689

00:29:28,843 --> 00:29:32,229

No. No, the land is sacred.

690

00:29:32,296 --> 00:29:33,564

Kapu.

691

00:29:33,631 --> 00:29:36,299

They're...

they're being punished.

692

00:29:36,351 --> 00:29:37,684

By the evil spirits

693

00:29:37,769 --> 00:29:39,219

and blah, blah, blah.

694

00:29:39,287 --> 00:29:40,821

Uh...

695

00:29:40,905 --> 00:29:42,773

What about the rock

that hit my window?

696

00:29:42,824 --> 00:29:45,325

Was that an evil spirit, too?

No, I think that was you.

697

00:29:45,410 --> 00:29:48,662

You needed to learn respect!

698

00:29:50,448 --> 00:29:53,117

What happens to people

that don't respect the heiau?

699

00:29:54,819 --> 00:29:57,871

They open the door.

700

00:30:01,209 --> 00:30:04,595

The dead will be looking

for you now.

701

00:30:07,465 --> 00:30:08,766

I don't know.

702

00:30:08,833 --> 00:30:10,684

He's clearly disturbed,

but I don't like him for this.

703

00:30:10,769 --> 00:30:12,002

What's not to like?

704

00:30:12,053 --> 00:30:14,254

I mean, he, uh, had the bag

from the crime scene,

705

00:30:14,322 --> 00:30:16,339

he admits to jumping those kids,

and he is obsessed

706

00:30:16,391 --> 00:30:17,775

with keeping people

out of the heiau.

707

00:30:17,842 --> 00:30:19,026

All right, which

begs the question--

708

00:30:19,094 --> 00:30:20,861

would he ever dig it

up to bury bodies?

709

00:30:20,945 --> 00:30:22,512

I don't think so.

Plus, if we're looking

710

00:30:22,564 --> 00:30:23,730
